Finally someone else has discovered the "cover-up" with Lynch. I can't believe he had the nerve to even speak on ESPN. How soon he forgets. We won't ever. Thank you for bringing it to light again.

What I make of it was this...people that didn't and don't know the whole story spouting off about things they know nothing about. The woman you speak of that CLAIMS she reported something the year before, then MADE her own son play again. Does that make sense to you? There is NO documentation of any complaint with the kids involved, and from what I understand her story cannot be corroborated so what exactly are you talking about? And Jeff Lynch who decided to be interviewed on ESPN and chose to blame the coaches for this incident spoke without having all of the necessary information to pass such judgement. Too bad no one was able to publicly flog him for what was in the Sun & Journal May 4, 1981.
"Jeffrey D Lynch, 20...identified...as the driver of the car was arrested on seven charges. He was cited for failure to keep right, driving with a restricted license and driving an uninsured, unregistered car with unsafe tires and switched plates". Oh did I mention a young man was killed and another seriously injured in the crash???
I wouldn't be surprised if he was involved in the lawsuit against the district.
What lawsuit against the district? Are you starting rumors?

I do not know who Rotten Apple is, I do not know who you are, I do not know anyone that actually posts here. I was told by a friend, who may or may not post here, they did not reveal that to me, that this blog existed early this morning. I had no idea that any of this was still talked about until today, besides what I see once in a while on the t.v. I stopped by to check it out, and decided to post a thanks.

When I said above that the adults were in the wrong, I am not referring to the coaches, I agree with just me and NY tax payer that they have been wrongfully accused of child endangerment. The adults that I am referring to are the press, the police for misleading us, and the parents that don't have all of the details, but choose to butt into situations that don't even pertain to them. If it weren't for busybodies, this could have been handled without having the "town torn apart".
wow. you say you don't call the kids liars, then you sling mud at their parents. Great

I don't think he's calling the parents of the victims liars, but rather the people who have nothing to do with the case. Just my opinion...

You are welcome and I am so sorry to reopen the wounds. I assure you that this is not the end of it for exposing that tragedy. Hopefully you will feel just a little vindicated by the end of it. Maybe something good can come out of this whole mess!

So what did Mr. Lynch have to say to you? Surely by now you called him....
