The DA is the one that just "forgot" to show up. How does that happen. This is the only case the DA is prosecuting that ends up on the 6 o'clock news...
Seems to me the prosecution just doesn't have a case. Waste of taxpayer money, yes. Quite honestly this whole town knows that the State Police made a mistake to begin with and the media trumped this up to something its not. It is a shame that there are more victims here than just the accusers. Lots of people and families are suffering from this. The whole thing is a tragedy.

The defense attys asked for an extension to review the material that they were supposed to have weeks ago that the DA "forgot" to produce to them until just this week.
As far as this going on for years, I simply don't believe you. I live here and am VERY involved in the school activities with my children and have been for years. First I graduated here. Also - 2 of my children have all gone through this school and my last is in high school now. All involved in multiple sports and we have personal knowledge of the entire staff at WCS. We feel very lucky to live here despite what the press has tried to do to our town. I hope that this goes to trial so that it can be revealed for what it is, a very trumped up incident.

What do you feel was trumped up about it...what exactly was the incident? Was the incident, trumped up or not, enough to fire the coach involved?

Absolutely not.
This incident is not at all what it was made out to be, neither by prior knowledge of the staff story or the actual incident itself as reported in the press. Every facet of this has been blown way out of proportion by exaggeration or out and out lies.
None of the 6 adults on that bus should be fired and the administration has done its due diligence since day one.

I agree, The media blew this way out of proportion. It was a Hazing (bulling),it in its self was wrong. But it was told to "us" {By the media} as a sexual assult . Big World of differance anyway you see it.........

I totally agree too, but I think it needs to be said that we are not calling the kids (the accusers) liars. I think the kids did the right thing by coming forward, but it is clear now that a lot of ADULTS did the wrong thing. This whole mess could have been avoided but still had justice for the accusers and punishment for those that went too far but not ruined their young lives. Who's gonna make this right for everyone that got screwed out of this?

So I don't confuse anyone I want to add that in the papers they are trying to scramble now but it seems pretty clear that the kids never said they were sodomized, it came from a confidential source. But from what I remember the State Police talked about sexual abuse and sodomy in their press conference so the media, the vultures that they are, took that and ran. Shame on them. Now a lot of kids have to rebuild their little lives, and the coaches and their families too, and will never be able to get back to normal. That just sucks for all of them!

When I said above that the adults were in the wrong, I am not referring to the coaches, I agree with just me and NY tax payer that they have been wrongfully accused of child endangerment. The adults that I am referring to are the press, the police for misleading us, and the parents that don't have all of the details, but choose to butt into situations that don't even pertain to them. If it weren't for busybodies, this could have been handled without having the "town torn apart".

Violet cases of hazing and hazing including sexual assault and sodomy are on the rise throughout the country. Why do you continue to believe that Wilson is immune to such behavior?

Why are you acting so coy? Aren't you the one that seems so sure of what happened and have a hard on for the coach? What the public is slowly figuring out is that what happened was nothing like what was reported. Even you have to admit that!

No one here is saying Wilson is immune, we are simply saying that the facts are that sodomy didn't happen here. Why do you continue to believe that it did?

Because boys this age tend to be extremely homophobic...I find it very difficult to believe that they made up a story like this for attention or money, like so many of you believe.

I am not sure of what happened, and have never claimed to KNOW what happened, but what I think is even if only 10% of what has been reported is true that is enough for me to think the coach should be fired.
And I do not find my family, friends, neighbors talking about this being blown out, or things being reported and made worse than they really were.
I find the people I have spoken to being convinced more and more that the staff on that bus, the administration is at fault. It seems to me that the longer this goes on the more people are starting to realize that the public and people in this town have been supporting a school that is not, was not, doing what they are paid to do.

Honestly what does it matter if penetration happened or not?
What if it was only punching, or pinching?
What do you know that nobody else knows...

Not so many, just a few insist "nothing" happened.
Actually I have not spoken to ANYONE who thinks that NOTHING happened. Most people I know think yes maybe the media, rumors, gossip has blown certain things out of wack, but something happened on the bus and the question is....Is what actually happend on that bus enough to prove negligence.

Look, I know you are family so I'll try not to be offensive to you. I don't think the boys initially made anything up. I think they told their parents that they were goosed and the police were called. Then the civil attorney was called in the same breath. That convinces me that these kids were exploited and continue to be exploited by anyone that has an agenda and that includes you and the media. I feel horrible for those boys.
