Wilson is being over run with drugs and the County doesn't give Wilson enough attention. If wilson had its own Police Dept. people would have to worry about buying and selling drugs.

Wilson overrun with drugs? Don't you mean the apartments across the tracks? That would take a few days to stop with police on the scene all the time. Then they'd have nothing to do justify their presence, and would start pulling people over left and right for the least infraction youd find your law abidding butt in court.Remember how great it worked out for Joiner?Drug traffic never missed a beat. But it got where people were avoiding coming into town cause you had two or three cops with nothing to do but harass people and keep traffic court filled up.You might want to think it through.County are always just minutes away.

THEY NEED TO GET ANOTHER SONNY LYNCH.none of you will remember him, but he wore a western style pistol and had a shot gun in his truck. he shot dogs and cats and would beat anyone first, then ask questions.

If the police department was put together with good cops..and yes they do exist...then things would be fine. And yes, they would have to write tickets. But if you do nothing wrong then you wouldn't have to worry. Tickets bring money to a town as well as drug arrests. I grew up in Wilson and over 28 years i've watched it fall apart. Its lost the Cafe, SR, Mauppins Grocery, gas stations .... The only business that can stay alive is the drug business.

O.K.,here we go. Wally,If you want a bad ass cowboy shootin pets and whuppin ass and takin names.Ridin herd over you then move to texas.I always wonder about men who are enamored by "tough guys".Hometown boy, You think drug trade has run off business?NAFTA killed SR,and that killed Maupinns. The grocery is still here and as far as I know the only gas station ever here is still operating.Wilson Cafe is reopening.A town this small cannot and will not be able to sustain a professional police force because it costs too much.We already pay for police through the county. You don't care if police practice predatory methods of revenue creation?Thats speed traps and ticketing for any infraction. When people stop driving through here on 61 because of that, not only will the little bit of business it does provide dry up but they will then turn on locals who "dont do nothin wrong".Guys like yourself and good ole Wally who will feel so betrayed and harassed when a crack in your windshield costs YOU 3 or 4 hundred bucks.Or little junior's ass goes to jail for some silly kid stuff he did.

Once again i will say...if you have ood officers then there won't be tickets for nothing. And i never said that drugs ran off all the businesses i said that the drug business is the only one that can stay alive. A new Mayor might help things also. A good MAyor would see that wilson doesn't have anything and would look to improve the town.

Look people, i live in a town smaller than wilson now and it has much more busimesses. I would like to see wilson get beter but no one in Wilson is trying to improve it and no one new will move in and fix things because the neighborhods are getting realy bad. And its not just on the bad side of the tracks. I know plenty of the so called "High Society Types" Smoking & snorting. Not to mention child pornography that came up a few years back. A good Mayor that knows that grant system, and a police chief that can be trusted and also knows the grant system would turn Wilson around.
they got it going on

Amen brother, preach on, you are so right. If half of the people in wilson had to pay for their doing, as selling drugs using them then trashing the poor or lower class people out, you would be so so shocked. It would you sick at your stomach to know what really goes on. It would be nice for once to put blame where blame goes

I agree with you Captain Redneck. I have lived in Wilson for many years and still do, these kind of things have been going on for years why are they just now trying to do something. But, I can assure you these people that are talking about the drugs in Wilson. What have any of them tried to do about the problems. Have they called the county and reported any of this. I would say they haven't because most people today don't want to get involved.

So you think its beter to just leave it alone. Let the drug traffic keep going? And if you have lived there as long as you say then you know the the county cant get shit right.

No, I never said leave it alone. I was saying it has been going on here for years. Nobody wants to do things about it, until it gets too bad. In the last few years you can drive down any street in Wilson and see them make deals. There is not a bad side of town anymore. Its the whole town. Raking_Felt have you ever lived in Wilson, if you did you would know. It take more than just cops to get things done. It is a community effort.

I say if their not bothering you, yeah, leave people alone.Guess what, people get high.Good people, bad people, rich, poor, here and there.I get high.Statistically,if you don't use an illegal drug,You have at least one prescription from a Dr. that will keep you on a 24 hour buzz much better than any joint will give. Quality pharmaceuticals not your style either? That's O.K. too.How about a nice drink? We got lots of legal choices there. And don't worry, no one will blame you when some other drunk crashes his car,or a Zanak queen's drug use destroys her family.Your gettin high legally and that doesnt hurt society right?

I could tell right away that u get f'ed up. Only someone that gets high will fight for the right to. And to let you know i have delt with plenty of drunk drivers....i hate them they kill too many people. How ever i have also pulled stoned MFers out of ditches also. I don't live in Wilson any more but did for many years and know just about every drug dealer and user there....went to school with most of them. I am a cop and have let plenty of dopers go for small shit, but all this damn drug pushing at the schools is getting old and needs to stop. Theres a reason that i know all the users and dealers in Wilson...like i said i went to school with them and since graduation they haven't done shit with their life.

Yeah Felt, you know it all don't you?Who said anything about selling drugs to kids?Pricks like you who know eveything about everyone are always willing to gild the lily. How do yall like that one?If the flaws in your logic are disproven or even challenged, just make some shit up. It can't hurt to add a few juicy details, you know, jazz it up a little. If you don't live here how in the hell could you know all the users and dealers? If your a cop should'nt you be watching the users and dealers in THAT town? And what kind of small shit do you let "dopers"go for?Do the people in your town know that you can "tell right away" who is and isnt guilty of something? Is this the type of officers You would have for Wilson? No thanks Buddy. For my part You can just mind your own business.Youve clearly moved up and out of here.So stay out.
