Ditto. I can think of some policies and opportunities he has implemented that have been detrimental to the economy of this state. First thing he did was to turn down stimulus funding for High Speed Rail, which he did for partisan reasons, costing us thousands of jobs, cleaner air, less traffic wear on Interstates and a myriad of benefits to Ohio Citizens. Then SB 5. He can take his ass to work at Republican State Run Television again with the rest of the has beens.

How IRONIC! Even Putin respects God more than dumbass democrats....

The representative of the Russian Orthodox Church has told Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin this week of the urgent situation Christians are facing around the world in persecution hot spots, and has asked him to use his power to aid their situations.
.
RT online reported that Metropolitan Hilarion, foreign relation chief of the Russian Orthodox Church presented evidence and statistics that stated, "Every five minutes one Christian was dying for his or her faith in some part of the word."
.
Christians face persecution in many nations; from church demolition in Afghanistan and bombings of churches in Iraq, to the violence against Christians taking place in rebellious towns in Syria.
.
After delivering the facts, Metropolitan Hilarion asked Putin to make protection and defense of Christianity around the globe a major part of his foreign policy.
.
And, as reported by Interfax, Putin replied, "You needn't have any doubt that that's the way it will be," assuring Hilarion that Russian foreign policy would defend Christians from persecution abroad.
.
Putin's recent actions seem to confirm his promise. Last week, Putin vetoed a U.N. motion calling for Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad to step down. Syrian Christians received this as good news. Assad is of the Alawite sect of Islam. Alawites and Christians are both religious minorities in Syria. Syrian Christians feel that sharing this minority status means Assad will provide them with protection. A Syrian Christian woman even told The Global Post, "Thank God for Russia. Without Russia we are doomed."
.
Putin has long been a supporter of Christianity and Christian values within Russia. He has called for the Church to play a larger role in citizens' social lives, better religion classes in schools, and television programs emphasizing religious studies.
What's god got to do with it?

We need at least 40 Democrats in the State House of Representatives to block Governor John Kasich from implementing parts of his extreme agenda - like Right to Work - by placing them directly on the ballot. With two races too close to call, we've already won 39 seats and we're down by just 14 votes from picking up another.

Election officials just finished counting the provisional ballots in the 98th House District race between Democrat Josh O'Farrell and Republican Al Landis, and this race is going to an automatic recount as soon as Secretary of State Husted sets a date.

We know we may have to go to Court to ensure that every vote is counted since Republicans on the Board of Elections tossed out nearly 100 votes that may have been valid.

We need your help to fight for every vote in this recount - it's the only way to keep Republicans from winning a super-majority. With your support, we can beat the odds and pick up the seats we need to hold Kasich and his GOP allies accountable. Please donate $10 today to help us win this recount.

If we don’t win the recount, Gov. Kasich and House Republicans will gain a super-majority and will be able to pass any extreme piece of legislation whenever they want. We've seen where their priorities lie: attacking women's rights, workers' rights, and voting rights.

This is where we stop them. Will you help?

We can't let State House Republicans gain a supermajority. Please give $10 today to help us finish strong and win this fight.

In solidarity,

Chris Redfern
Chairman
Ohio Democratic Party

You guys pull him out every four years to get all the little old men and women from church. Dems run on their true connection will the people of this country and their commitment to the truth. Think about it if the Rep. had done the right thing god would be on or side on election. The dems respect the lord and carry out his plan ie. end wars, stopping hungery the said give a hungery man food, give a naked man a warm place and clothes. THE LORD WOULD BE A DEM. AND THE REP. WOULD BE THE ROMAN KING. A rep. in my area God, guns and good goverment. Read the word of god as he walked among us see if he does not sound like a dem. Have a opened mind when you read.
Yes, I'm sure if the Lord were here today, he'd be the head of the party that promotes abortion and getting religion out of our society. He would favor theft by taking from producers so they can buy votes from the lazy. He would want to be known as the provider when all he did was take from others to provide and then take the credit.

Think you should brush up on your religion.

Build things that nobody wants or needs. Yeah, we need more jobs like that. You do realize that only part of the money would have come from the stimulus. The rest would have to be paid by Ohio taxpayers who were in debt of 8 billion dollars when Kasich took over.

It doesn't matter how good of a job a Republican does, he's a Republican so vote him out. We are Democrats and we vote failures into office. Just look at the last Presidential election.

What about when Jesus said rich people have little chance to get into heaven? How about the part where Jesus said how we treat the least in society, is how we treat Him. Let's not forget turning the other cheek and giving your coat to your enemy. I have read the Bible several times and never saw a part that mentions abortion.

As far as paying your taxes..."Render unto Caesar…"

Nothing like being spanked with a Holy book by someone who doesn't buy it.

Here's a quote that could have easily come from Palin or Bachmann, That is, if they could form whole sentences...
For this, to be sure, from the child's primer down to the last newspaper, every theater and every movie house, every advertising pillar and every billboard, must be pressed into the service of this one great mission, until the timorous prayer of our present parlor patriots:'Lord, make us free!' is transformed in the brain of the smallest boy into the burning plea:'Almighty God, bless our arms when the time comes; be just as thou hast always been; judge now whether we be deserving of freedom; Lord, bless our battle!"
- Adolf Hitler's prayer, Mein Kampf, Vol. 2 Chapter 13
A whole lot of patriotism and religion going hand and hand right there. Sound familiar?
wow. You've really pput the peices together. Thanks for enlightening us. LOL! Well republicans in the mainstream do sound like socialists. Hell, romney was a parrot of obama... https://www.rutherford.org/publications_resou...

This is why there is no place for religion in politics. Someone can come up with an argument that their imaginary friend in the sky supports whatever position they want. We won't solve any of our problems until we start addressing them intellectually instead of with mythology.
