I agree with Amanda. Suckit definately has a beef. Every tattoo shop will have that issue occasionally. my uncle does tattoos and he sasid he has done that himself in the past. I would say suckit just like to cause problems and doesnt like the shop or someone there. some petty bullshit if you ask me. I havent been to this for the love of ink but ive seen the work. FAR from shitty!!

wow everyone is entitled to their opinion however i agree that you can't say a shop oly puts out shit work or say bad things about a shop based on one incident. And no to meton all you have to do is compare the work its right there on facebook for all to see. Only an uneducated dipshit would look at the tattoos from quikdraw and call that artwork, unfortunatey there are a lot of tattoo shops that are like that including one i ran across recently called monster ink...... i dont see how place like this stay in business, i really wish people were more educated on what a good tattoo and piercing looks like its not just putting a needle to someone and calling yourself a tattoo artist or a piercer.

I see the monster inks facebook. I wouldnt even consider that a tattoo shop. Guy looks to be straight out of prison and his "WORK" reflects it. No artistic ability at all. If I was going to go anywhere in clinton county I would go to For the Love of Ink. Good work and great people. I personally choose to go to Chad Shelton in Hillsboro though. Worth the wait to get in and a hella talented artist. But I have nothing bad to say about For the Love of Ink. they are a breath of fresh air compared to the other choices in that area. And from what I can tell the artist there keep improving on there work. I have been an artist for over 25 years and can see this with every new tattoo they do. As far as suck it goes. Grow the heck up man. No one likes a trouble maker.

Ummmm just a thought.... every tat i've had done (about 1o of them now), once they place it on your arm, leg, back etc... they have ALWAYS asked me "does this look ok - centered, where u want it etc" sooo I would suggest people LOOK AND READ their tat's BEFORE they start with the ink. Make sure they are centered or where u want them and SPELLED CORRECTLY..... I couldn't imagine not paying attention to those details beforehand...

Ive Had 2 tattoos thus far from For the Love of Ink. they are a sirenity prayer and my dads memorial tattoo. both times I was asked if everything was spelled correctly. He actually asked more than once. If it would have turned out to be wrong, it would have been my fault. I trust them and ill continue to go back. Good people, Clean shop, And great work.

it's spelled "Serenity Prayer".
You don't know how to spell yourself.

"He asked me several times if he spelled it right and I said yes several times and guess what? It was still spelled wrong because we are both uneducated morons who can't spell simple words & don't know what a dictionary is or how to use one".

It's just so pathetically funny.

And people like this are allowed to vote and have children too! SCARY!

See Terry Gruber at True Blue tattoo in Wash. CH. On 22 just west of town near the ODOT garage. Super quality work, look him up on facebook.

I Checked out all three shops in Wilmington a week ago. I went to the new one up town, it is called north south. very clean place. lots of art on the walls so I thought, this is going to be it. LOL. NOT, the guy showed me some portraits he did and I couldnt believe for a second that he really thought they were remotely good. his regular tattoo work was ok. Quick draw was a joke. rude, dirty and the little creepy dude that owns it just kept talking smack about the two other shops. I went to for the love of ink last and the shop was clean, the staff was friendly. The owner offered me a tour of the shop and told me to check out the other shops in town. I then told them i had and that i will be back. so, this was my "review" of wilmington tattoo shops. hope it helps anyone looking. I will say though that as far as outside appearances, i think For the love of ink could step it up. the plain, kinda dreary(run down) look from the outside does no justice to what is inside.

I can tell you the only shop I would go to is For the Love of Ink. stay away from the one uptown for portraits!!!!!! For the Love of Ink doesn't look like much on the outside but its definitely the best shop I've been to. Great environment!! great artists!!

I have two tats from quikdraw. One was done by norm in December 2007. I love it. The second was done in the spring/summer of 2012... Not nearly as happy with it. The work is rough and the color doesn't blend well.. I also have a tat from Trent at for the love of ink that I got done in the spring of 2009 before the shop changed owners... Best work I've got. And will be going to for the love of ink for any future work I get.

I would not go to any shop in wilmington but for the love of ink. quick draw is terrible. most people working out of there houses are better. the new one up town isnt bad but they fool people buy having alot of good artwork. The person tattooing is definately not as good at tattooing as they are at painting. I also notice they put alot of other artists stuff on there facebook page. kind of like they want to confuse people. we went to look as soon as they opened and they seemed very fake. i will stick with for the love of ink. they keep it real. awesome people.

I would also like to say my first choice would have been Chad shelton. He was booked up and told me that he personally trusted the crew at for the love of ink. that was god enough for me.
