It will benefit Tom Radewicz and crew as they try to fool the citizens of Castle Hayne into putting the fox in charge of the hen house under the falsehood of protecting Castle Hayne from Wilmington. This will be like infecting Castle Hayne with an uncurable disease, sadly, alot of money will be spent without any positive results. Check out his past record to see if you think he is a trustworthy public servant. While sheriff, he failed to re-certify a number of deputies because they failed to put his campaign signs in their yards. This resulted in a lawsuit the deputies won. His self serving, bad judgement, cost the tax payers of New Hanover County unecessary funds. This is someone that cares about other people? At the end of his term, he was found to have stolen property at his home. A chainsaw was one of the items. Want to put him in charge of Castle Hayne? This is what you want from your future Mayor? Also am curious about why Tom was dismissed from the General Electric Company after a very short time of employment? Don't expect any answers, all questions that have been asked up to now have gotten the reply: Let you know after the election. After the election?????? This will be way too late to get answers from future public servants, and if they will not answer questions now, what makes you think they will answer any once in office. This is not about electing a Mayor and council, if elected, they will try to become a King and his Court. I hope the people of Castle Hayne will see them for the self serving liars they are, VOTE AGAINST INCORPORATION. If they want to be in charge of something, they can pick a game on Facebook, where they can't do any harm or cost real people any money.

Let us not forget that Titan Cement tried to cut out thier own sweetheart deal in the incorporation bill that would protect them from any changes to the County zoning. Titan of course denied these attempts, even though our own elected leaders confirmed they had been confronted.

What has been overlooked or not said is this. Tom Radewicz and members of the Castle Hayne Steering Committee were courted by titan. There was a fact finding, wine and dine trip that no one would ever say who paid for it. This incorporation attempt was rushed. Major lies were told to try and scare people into voting for this. A special election instead of adding it to the national election. Their hope of a 10% to 15% turnout didn't materialize. If the state finance committee would have looked at this closely, this election would have never happened. The size of the town versus the numbers presented didn't add up. GE could have been included in the town's limits, but wasn't. Wonder why? I can only guess that Tom was informed that they had had all of his mess they ever cared to deal with. The election of mayor and council members held before a town was even formed. Everything about this process had an unpleasant smell from the very beginning. Had this been successful, it is my opinion that titan would have gotten far more than being able to avoid new zoning regulations. They would have gotten a rubber stamp. Titan has no conscience, nothing matters except what they want. This foreign corporation uses OUR court systems to sue OUR citizens. They use OUR court systems to delay complying with OUR rules and regulations. It is bad enough when American Corporations use these tactics, but must we put up with this behavior from foreign corporations. Anyone that thinks this is ok, wait until you are the one on the wrong side of their wrath.
AND.........they tried to take over an entire community. In spite of what they thought and were told, they found out the citizens of Castle Hayne, N.C. were far too intelligent to allow this to happen. Now lets finish the job and sent these soulless foreign invaders back to Greece..........or better yet, to HELL.
