Group Says NC Violated Separation Of Church, State

A humanist group is claiming the state of North Carolina violated the First Amendment by allowing voting in churches that advocated anti-gay political stances.

I agree. However, I believe that they are fighting the wrong battle. I have voted in churches for the passed 25 years and not had a problem with it. But, the sign, on the polling palace's property, reading “A true marriage is male and female and God” is a clear violation of state and federal laws election laws regarding campaign material displayed closer than 100 feet of any polling place.

They have them dead to rights on that one.
