Well seems like some of you need to be enlighten why such organizations were formed, I don't think I need to explain it but I will. Historically Black Americans were not allowed to join white folks groups or organization because of the color of their skin, they were considered and it seems they still are inferior to white folks. Look how they are looked upon, called names thought to be stupid and ignorant. No matter what achievements they make you white people will continue to hate them just because of the color of their skin. How sad you all sound and God is watching you all degrade and look upon his creations beneath you. At one time no magazine had a black face in it. So technically you do have your own magazines. Black publications came into existance because there was a need for the black community to have something to identify with. Do not teach your children the same hate that you have, read the history of this country and educate yourself. You sound as if you have a membership card with the KKK.
You neglect the fact that some black people 'degrade' themselves by insulting other races as well. It's not just white people, dont'cha know? And stop using the KKK as an example. You're stereotyping the fact that every WHITE person who has views that don't favor yours are part of the KKK - thus, people would generally dislike that person.

Another example would be if, say, I started a group that promoted WHITE community, and WHITE together and WHITE perseverance, I would without a doubt be labeled racist (And in your case a KKK member.). But if I replaced white with BLACK, there would be very little opposition. And that opposition would be from racists.

I'm a white man, happily married to a beautiful white woman and we have three beautiful children. We moved here from West Virginia in February of this year. I can honestly say that in the little town of Leland where we now reside, I've yet to meet a black individual who hasn't been friendly, respectful and kind to me.

In fact, my next-door neighbors are a young black couple just getting started with their lives. They're respectful and hard-working people with a zeal for life. I've met their parents and many other family members and everyone of them treated me with kindness and respect.

I try to be color-blind when it comes to race because we're all creations of Almighty God and when He looks at us, He see's what's in our heart, not the color of our skin.

Leland is a "very" small country town and you get a different sort of black, thats how it is down here try coming up to Fayetteville (almost any part)or just get on hwy 74 cross over the bridge into Wilmington ,park at the Exxon and start walking east you,ll figure out what everyone is talking about,(but your so open minded you may not even notice your standing in a ghetto ,lol) not trying to be rude WVA but you can be as color blind as you wanna feel while your running back to your car.

I know the area from the Exxon on down to Oleander. I'd walk that street tomorrow with confidence because I know who I am and other's know me simply by the way I represent myself to the public. I fear no man!

Good for you.The running part was a joke, but the street you would walk to prove a point is no where near where you choose to live.
I think I get where your coming from, but its a fine line between keeping a positive outlook sometimes and choosing to ignore whats around you lol...

This country has a past history of some of the most horrific crimes and prejudices against the black race and that we can't do anything about it is a bitterly slow process for all our our mentalities to change.By the grace of God thing are slowly changing in this country.Abraham Lincoln said that the civil war was a punishment from God for America allowing slavery and he truly beleived that I'm sure he was right.God himself set this country in motion he sent Martin Luther King at the time he appointed it was and is God's will as the forefathers wrote in the constitution that ALL MEN are created equal but that was not followed in this country.I have church members of other races and I love them very much Jesus Christ was from the Jewish nation of Israel if we ever want to see him and abide with him forever when when we leave this earth we have to make a decision to accept and love all people as God's children especially I feel those who are fellow Americans.I hold no ill will for the past sins done to my race but I am so grateful to God that he had a plan for me to be in this great country.

I suppose, if the mugger insists on digesting some lead. BTW, the criminals have a record of mugging those who appear vulnerable, weak, and unaware of their surroundings. I don't fall into any of those categories. Do you?

I don't recall that I said anything about trusting or respecting anyone. The bottom line is, I carry my protection anywhere and everywhere I go. In other words, I don't leave home without it. Enough said?

It really doesn't matter to me whether you understand or not. I'm not interested in argument over what I consider a trivial issue.

Hey, Stonewall! How did you find me, bro? We had a great Christmas, thank you. And, from my family to yours, we wish y'all a Blessed and Prosperous New Year. Good to read from ya, my friend. Stay in touch.

BTW, I'm now just wondering around to different forums and trying to get into a decent discussion every now and again. You know me, I especially enjoy talking poltitics and religion.

Also, you can bet your bottom dollar that I won't be back on that other forum until a few of those people decide to grow up and act like adults. I'll be talkin at ya, Bro!

Glad I found you, I had a rude awakening when my grandkids found out what my proxy was and started reading some of the junk I had been writing on there...So I decided to straighten up and act like a grampa instead of a teenager...Good luck and hope you have a good year.

I'm also glad you found me, Bro. BTW, God has His little ways of exposing us, especially to those whom we love most. LOL! I'm glad to know that you've decided to straighten up. God bless you and your family and good luck with the change, my friend!
