Maybe, just maybe, the gun used in this shooting was the same type of gun the SWAT Team in Framingham also uses. The SWAT Team in Framingham just shot an unarmed 68 man to death; in a botched SWAT raid. And, so far the best reason the fuzz can come up with for killing an innocent unarmed senior citizen is "the gun somehow discharged".

So, maybe there is now a few of these guns floating around that can suddenly just discharge. And, maybe the SWAT Team in Framingham Mass has at least one of them; and so did Officer Maguire's shooter.

Yeah; that must be it. No one meant to shoot anyone. There is just defective guns around. And, some are owned by members of the Framingham Mass SWAT Team; and at least one was owned by a jewel thief here in Woburn. We are sitting on a real powerkeg; alright....guns just discharging on their own.....

Did anyone know that Dominic Cinelli served a good portion of his time at the Worcester County House of Correction. Was he being protected??? I know he was there because I was in there at the time, and seen him everyday. He was still there when I was sentenced to Walpole. It seems odd that a guy serving 3 life sentences with a escape history was doing his time in a kiddy camp. Somebody was protecting him????

The reason violent offenders are let out is that there is no room in our prisons for them. Instead we fill them with drug dealers and users pretendiing that they are what causes societies ills. Our whole system needs to be changed, rapists are free to keep raping because of no funds for rape kits yet the politicians seem to always find money when a pet project of theirs comes up. How about all of the pedofiles that get out in 18 months? I am sorry for this police officer and his family, but we let out much bigger monsters than this guy and until we fix this broken system we are cursed to keep repeating this history. I am all for bringing back the death penalty but it should not be used just for cop killers, with all due respect at least the cops can shoot back. Personally I feel it is worst to shoot an unarmed person than not. And while we are at it I say child rapists and serial rapists should be strapped to that chair as well. Not to mention, businessmen that would take down a countries entire economy to fill their own pockets, yes a nice hot chair for them too please.

Mass is not a two party state. As much of the country demanded change on Nov 2, the citizens of Mass stated loud and clear that they like it the way things are, including the Parole system.
First of all liberal is not a dirty word, no matter how many times you people try to manipulate it that way. Actually liberals believe in change and are not just cheering for one party no matter if there policy is, like one does a hometown sports team. you speak as if New hampshire is a two party state, if you mean conservative republican and ultra conservative republican then you are right. While Dems may essentially rule Massachusetts there have been some republican leadership do I need to remind you of Mitt Romney or even more recently Scott Brown. There are a lot more independents in Massachusetts these days then Dems or Republicans which to me is a good thing because you are no longer cheering for your team but looking at the individuals players and how they will represent you. So what is this great change that Republican leadership in Congress is going to offer us? They speak of fiscal responsibility but didn't feel the need for that when they declared two wars. They screams of treason for Wikileaks but they didn't scream when Karl Rove and Cheney outed Valerie Plame. Hyprocrisy is so rampant in the republican party it should really be called the hyprocritical party if we are blaming you we probably do it too

I also am very sorry for the police officer , his family, and brother officers. Can you give an example of what bigger monsters they have let out that are worse than this guy? I doubt they've let anyone else out that was sentenced to three life bits, then paroled them, so that he could go out and kill again.

I'm kind of amazed at how important it is for everyone to blame the parole board. The jails aren't big enough to hold everyone and the system turns soft criminals into hard ones, and given the abusiveness of police in this state, its hard to decide if anyone is really better off in jail. Worse people have been let out of jail, folks. This guy didn't go out to kill an officer. He went out to steal stuff and ended up firing when he got scared and while that does not justify killing an officer or anyone else, I think its a little different from the guy getting out of jail and going into a police station to open fire on everyone there.

Something just feels like when a cop gets hurt or killed or mistreated, there is so much compassion and outrage but when its someone else, it just slides past the news unless its something really horrendous like a murdered child (a white one).

Cops are people and there are hard working honest ones and there are corrupt and abusive ones. When a person dies, its always sad but we just can't get past it unless we blame, blame, blame.
