It's great to see you have your priorities. A young man loses his life and you care about being late to where you're going

How sad. My condolences to his family as well as the engineer, staff and passengers on the train. It is so tragic for so many. That saying "If you see something, say something" needs to be extended to "If you see someone or know someone who is having a hard time - say something - let them know you care. They are only an arms length from you, and it could save a life.

How Sad: My Thoughts And Prayers Goes Out To The Family.
" ATTENTION PLEASE "
This sounds like that there need to be some attention to this area. The tracks under Route 129 bridge separate a residental neighborhood.
This Should Not Have Been Left Open
So It Became A Common CUT -THROUGH
So Sad That Somebody Had Lost Thier Life.. For
This Area Of Openig Fencing :
NEEDS TO BE CLOSE OFF..
ALSO MIGHT WANT TO CHECK ALL TRAIN TRACKS FOR ATTENTION..
THIS STORY BROUGHT TEAR'S TO MY EYES!!' MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THE VICTIM AND HIS FAMILY.

It isn't the railroad's fault. You have to work at getting hit by the train.

Stay off the tracks.

EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS!!!!!

STAY OFF THE TRACKS, DON'T TRESPASS.

His selfish actions ended his life, ruined the lives of his family, impacted the lives of the MBTA employees on that train as well as the passengers. Its tragic but also was 100% preventable.

You both say this as though the trains never have accidents. Maybe you should just keep your mouth shut and realize that no matter how it went down this man has a grieving family out there. As I said to Big Joe, what if it was someone you knew? When you look at the posts from others wouldn't you be irritated at how insensitive to others people are just because they do not directly know the person?

Wow. What an ass. I hope your place goes out of business. You definitely should have thought a little more before you wrote that one.

He shouldn't have been trespassing on the tracks in the first place. Don't get me wrong because it is tragic but as someone who works for a RR we have seen more often than we should. One sure fire way to avoid getting hit by a train is to stay off the tracks. It is private property and obviously dangerous. RR employees aren't even allowed on the tracks without foul time or a flagman. This is in NO WAY THE RR's FAULT.

Very sad. It is best to stay far away from the tracks and don't use the area as a shortcut.

Those that walk near the tracks should learn from this horrible accident. Walk via the safe areas provided. You have to go out of your way to have this happen.

Rest in peace.

Where this accident occurred is not where people typically cross the tracks. A 1/4 mile south @ Bridge Ln is the problem area. I live in this residential area and this is becoming an increasing problem as teenagers cross there frequently to get from the 2 schools on one side to the main drag of stores on the other side.

They,(State,Town,MBTA) should be addressing this area by either fencing it off or building a walking bridge for pedestrians. I hear the horns from the train more and more recently which only means that someone or something is on the tracks a lot. It's only a matter of time before this happens again. It would be a shame for them to wait for another tragedy to happen again before taking action now.

When my son went to those schools, we made him walk around or drove him because it is ILLEGAL to cross the tracks and we feared for his safety! I can't believe how many kids cross here on a daily basis.

My heart goes out to the family of this person and the engineer that no doubt avoided the accident as I heard the horns and the brakes screeching!

Pay attention local and State authorities...It sadly will happen again if something is not done soon!
