Get the right guy to get the job done

There are 2 comments on the Lowell Sun story from Oct 22, 2010, titled Get the right guy to get the job done. In it, Lowell Sun reports that:

If my boss said I was hired to lower taxes, and I really wanted lower taxes, and I spent 33 years trying hard to be part of lowering taxes, yet every year taxes went up, eventually my boss would have to replace me or he would not be doing his job.

What a great recycled story Karl!

What are you getting for being such a Marchese stooge? Did Mike Caria give you a lollipop for being such a good little boy? I hope so. Because you will have to live in town after the election.

I do plan to live in Wilmington for a long time. I plan to continue to strive for the best representation I can get on Beacon Hill. I plan to continue to speak my mind. I also plan to disregard hollow threats and complaints from John and others of his level.

I am unaware of Mike Caira's position on this election, as I have not spoken to him in months. If he feels as I do, it is to his credit.

I happen to think the man who is supposed to be my representative is a good man, who has done a good job in the past, and has a good record of service to some of his constituents, but that does not mean I cannot feel it is time for him to move on. I think the culture on Beacon Hill is corrupt, and after 33 years there, he is not the force for change that I want.

I do not need to call people names for expressing their honest opinions.
