None of them were attending college. One of them had a teaching job and one had a baby.

Wow I didn't know you had to be skinny in order to be a waitress. You must be gorgeous right. And btw the old waitresses quit bc they're stuck up bitches who only cared about themselves and not the business. Js
Wow, Wilmo, pretty nasty comment. This response sounds like it's coming from someone who still works there.

No just someone who knows the people that work there as well as Tom and has listened to the multiple complaints about those waitresses. You thought my comment was bad while others are bashing the people that wait on them some people don't understand the way they treat waitresses I used to be one and its one of the hardest things trying to please hhr publix

Sounds like you are being a hypocrite...here you are publicly bashing ex-waitresses and then complaining about people bashing the waitresses....Js

Bash away. And while we are on the subject, the food still is overpriced & mediocre at best.

That does sound like somthing a young angry waitress would say. Most likely one that has incurred many of these complaints on this forum.

Think what you want everyone has there own option but no one really knows. And I disagree have you ever eaten anywhere else they're prices are ridiculous I at restaurant in orland park and they charged me $15 for a chicken dinner no soap or salad. If you think they're over priced then your crazy you have to make at least a little money on your food. That's just my opinion.

I too think the prices are to high for what the serve or try to serve. Just my opinion though.

I was sad to see two of my favorite waitresses leave Hayden's.. One was a girl who was expecting a baby, the other a new teacher. They were not "stuck up bitches" but two sweet hard-working girls.Ever since they both quit, it seems as though the place has lost a little of its sparkle. I am not sure why they no longer work there, but it is Hayden's loss none the less.

I'm sure the old waitresses had good reason to quit, I can't imagine a handful of good waitress up and quitting for no good reason. I'm sad to see them go though.

What do you expect to pay exactly? The Pub burger is $7.00 for a half pound burger that is hand-packed daily; as opposed to frozen pre-packaged patties. The burger comes with fries too.. At McDonald's you pay almost $6.50 for the Double Quarter Pounder meal.. the difference in quality is vast for a very similar price.

P.S. Don't start talking about how the food quality is similar to McDonald's because it is MUCH BETTER at Hayden's.

My husband and I used to frequent this place often. The servers were always extremely polite and never gave us any reason to complain. Recently though we've decided to find a new place to go. All of our favorite girls no longer work there and we hardly recognize any of the new faces. We used to feel as though we had friendships with these women. The atmosphere is completely different; no one seems happy or talkative. The new girls seem lost and unsure. Along with our service, the food seems like it is also going down hill. There are obvious reasons as to why problems have arisen in the past year... not to stir the pot, but why after 5 years of success, has hayden's crossing started failing so miserably???
