I have enjoyed our new restaurant, but am very
disatisfied with a change. I had Calamari recently
and it was fabulous. The sizes of the rings were
different and the breading was light, and not totally covered in batter. Delicious!
Yesterday, I was given Calamari that looked like
overcook Onion Rings! All uniform in size, and
poor quality. More breading than rings. I wonder
if they poured them into a deep fryer from bag of
frozen, premade, Calamari. If this keeps up, and other food items are downgraded I will pass the word, and avoid the place. PS, I love Cookies Corner, and will always patronize them as well.

I have to say that I was very pleased with my experience at this establishment. I came there for the first time with a large group of people this past Friday. It was a cozy place. We ordered a bunch of appetizers which were all very good. And service was phenominal. Not sure what the bartender's name was but she was very sweet. She remembered everything we were all drinking and always had a smile on her face. We all had a blast. And I will definately be returning.

My husband and I have lived in Minooka for 4+ years, and have always had to travel outside this town for decent food. I have to say that due to some reviews on another website, I'm sorry it took us as long as it did to visit ODonjos. Our experience from start to finish was top notch. We have our favorites such as Macarena Tapas and Shinto, and this will defintelty be added to our list. Our server, Carrie was absolutely amazing! You can tell she really cares what you're thinking, and that really makes the experience that much better. The food is slightly overpriced for the area, but definitely worth every penny in my book. Prior reviews mention that there is not any bread or soup & salad served with the entrees. I'm not sure if the owners recently changed this, but we were offered our choice of soup or salad with our dinner. A few things to mention. Crab cakes were delicious and full of actual crab meat, and not just filler. The jalapeņo ranch dressing is a must have, and their steaks are cooked to perfection. We will definitely come back and see what else they have to offer. For those that complained about the fact that they don't serve bread, go to jewel, buy some French bread, pour a little Evoo on a paper plate and stay home.

In the past month, I have been to Odonjos twice. Each time the waitress
informed us that at least 6 menu items would be unavailable, including lamb. This is unacceptable for a restaurant. I believe that something is very wrong, and don't believe it when they say the food was unavailable. This is a sign that business is not doing well. How can you expect people to return if this continues.
Also a shrimp bruschetta pasta dish did not come as described. It should
have had brochetta on toasted bread and pasta. It had some brochetta on
the pasta and the shrimp on 4 small untoasted, uncoated pieces of bread.
Shameful. I would have sent it back, but the waitress insisted this was the way it always is served. I gave them a second chance, but now I won't be back. I have spoken to the management in the past about another menu problem.
Owners why are you allowing this failure?

Why feel hurt? Do something about the problems in your business, or get out of it.
