Bail set in Wilmette swindling case
A Cook County judge on Saturday set bail at $200,000 for a man accused of swindling a Wilmette resident out of $225,000. Donald D. Lukens, 58, of 505 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, was arrested at his home Friday morning by the Wilmette Police Department and charged with two felony counts of theft by deception, the police reported.
