Charges Upgraded Against Teen Accused Of Murder

CHICAGO Charges were upgraded Thursday against a 13-year-old Berwyn boy accused of fatally stabbing a schoolmate.

HOW DID THE THIRTEEN YEAR OLD DIE ONSATURDAY NIGHT. THE OFFICIALS AREN'T TELLING ALL THAT WE NEED TO KNOW WE NEED TO KNOW THE REST OF THE DEATH ....... TELL US MORE AND ALSO WHY DOESNT THE OFFICALS ASK STUDENTS AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL WHAT HAPPENED AT THE ARGUMENT AT THE LUNCH HOUR MAYBE SOMEONE KNOWS SOMETHING OR MAYBE THEY KNOW WHY THE KID STABBED HIM!!!!!!!!!!

You can't begin to know how glad I am that I got the hell out of that area. I used to live across from the school, and ever since they built Heritage, that area has gotten worse and worse.

I know the kid who did the stabbing and i can tell you for one thing that he should have never been allowed in to public school. vinnie is his name and he was kicked out of another school, i believe for fighting. this kid was actually outrageous when he lived out here in darien, but i am very concerned that he was allowed to go to school in such a high risk area. I have much sympathy for the hernandez family and again am very sorry that he was allowed to terrorize the streets of berwyn

I happen to know vinnies background and can tell you I blame the mother and father. the kid never had a chance. When he was a baby in diapers he was roaming the streets of berwyn without any parental supervision. The mother is an abusive druggy tramp and never took care of those kids. She would leave them alone and disappear for days without her children knowing if she was dead or alive. Its a dam shame she has never been convicted of child abuse/neglect. They have gone to so many schools and moved a million times. Get the kid some therapy and lock her behind up!

I been a Berwyn resident my entire life. i happen to know the child vinnie and his family. he has a warm loving family that is behind him 100% I'm aware that ricky was following his fathers foot steps in gang activity and caused all this commotion. vinnie's a very smart boy who has been put down by others most of the time. i believe the only reason vinnie was arrested was because the truth or the whole story wasnt told by witnesses. berwyn is a great city, its the punk wanna bees that are walking around it like ricky destroying it. our prayers and hope is with vinnie and his family. you should stay strong and prepare to accomplish the goals and dreams that you have. for the mother, she has raised 3 beautiful smart children by herself. she has had a rough 21 years raising her children. i cant imagine what Ricky's and vinnie's mom is going through. all vinnie wanted to do is to follow his intelligent brother's footsteps and graduate 8th grade from the same school as his brother's. ricky had to ruin that for him. the students probably didn't accept vinny, but berwyn was vinnie's hometown before it was theres. from records showing ricky was expelled from other schools and programs due to gang violence. i can imagine how vinnie feels about ricky and it should have never resulted this way, but if ricky was here the law would have him in vinnie's position. good luck vinnie im sure life will get better. it is almost one year. most of the people leaving comments have know idea what goes on inside the homes of ricky and vinnie. and have no right to judge anybody but their own self
