Overseas adoptions not always a blessing

To many, the act seemed inhumane and indefensible. A Tennessee woman having trouble with her adopted son placed the 7-year-old on an airplane last week for an 11-hour flight alone back to Russia, his native country.

When I read stories like this it makes me glad that God chose for me to be childless. That, and that I don't make enough money to adopt, do IVF, or surrogacy.

Hopefully, Russia, like China, will stop giving children to single women. 70% of all criminal kids are being raised by never married moms. Notice, I say "never married" as opposed to divorced or widowed!
