Commissioner hopefuls: North Versailles' finances, image need work

Though two incumbents lost in the May primary, one of them is waging a write-in campaign in an effort to keep his seat.

The voters are way too smart to re-elect any of the incompetent councilmen that put us in the position of having to release our plolice....then pay back wages for the violation of the contract. Audits not done, money missing, reduced safety - anyone is better than those guys.

Now that elections are over, I'm so glad to see that the people of NV Twp are smart individuals and made sure that the incompetent commissioners did not make it back for another term. I really hope and pray that they start off right by cleaning up the administrative office where the incompetent commissioners incompetent friends and family members are employed. The Township offices are a mess!!! You have more woman working down there then there has ever been and they still can't even get simple jobs like payroll correct. You have a township manager/secretary that sits on the floor and reads the news paper while the rest of her cronies slack off with her, leaving the one or two people who are really trying, to take on the entire work load. And if the township is hurting financially like they say, why are they employing so many useless people and paying them a desent wage. The problems within the township building has to be worked out first before you can start straightening out the township. I hope and pray that the new commissioners don't let us down and that they do make a difference. As a resident of this town, I am highly embarrassed to admit that I live here.
