Mtn View did have it that is correct... No problems is incorrect... That had a few minor fire issues and almost stopped the show but went ahead and finished it... I don't believe that show was put on by a fire dept but mtn view fire was there like always.. Point is the show this topic is on is put on by a fire dept... Has a fire dept I believe children and adults look up to them. Also has a fire dept I feel they have more response ability than the community. With that being said I really think they need to consider all possibilities. Some people may think if they can have a show then we can go in are own fields and play and if that happens then the out come may not be good

simplest and safest way out is to put it on hold.

Why take the risk of creating an emergency when you don't have to?

Are they still doing the fireworks or not? A direct answer would be better than all this bickering. Also, where is this place? I'd be coming from the direction of Cabool.

We had a good showing on Saturday but would like to set some stories straight about the show. We did stop the show twice of which the second time we had to totally shut down due to the multiple blazes. We did however manage to run about a 30 minute show. We still have about half the show left and intend to do something big for next year. As for the dry conditions I will just say this. Mtn. View Volunteer Fire Department spent two days pouring over 20,000 gallons of water on that field and we still had fires. We plan to be at the festivities tonight in Willow just to see if they can pull it off and I really hope they do with little or no problems. Been looking forward to see if they can be just as good as last year.

Another amazing display and, as expected, well controlled.
