If it's that crowded, they must be doing something right. If you are concerned about the pastor's credentials, why don't you ask him and not everyone on Topix. I doubt that anyone on here has any idea what his credentials are.

Looks like you answered your own question and accomplished your mission.

Our God is a forgiving God. You should be also.

I've been to this church numerous times. The pastor is a wonderful and Godly man. If he's ever made a mistake I'm not aware of it, and besides, that's between him and God! I've had to be forgiven so many times I can't count them all...haven't you? God bless you.

Always amazes me how good "Christian" people who go to church can get on a public forum and spew such stuff. Someone who doesn't care for the preacher, someone who gossips about the preacher and his wife and their personal life.

And, by the way, his wife was a Wake, not a Pringle. Her mother was a Pringle. If you're going to rave about someone, get your story right.

I'm glad it is only God that judges me some day. I'd hate to leave it to you people.

Dennis is one of the most Godly men you will ever meet. He loves God. He prays daily and tries to live his life pleasing to God. We are all saved by God's Grace. We are judged by God, not man-thank the Lord. And as far as the money goes, he is a full time pastor, but he does not receive a salary and has not since he started the church. He wanted the money to fix up the church and give to local outreaches instead. Therefore he works a full time job, coaches his children's sports, and attempts to lead his flock like a Godly shepherd would. He seeks the face of God for leadership. He is forever learning how to be a pastor, you don't learn that overnight, but with God's help he can be a great one. You ask me how I know all of this? I am his WIFE. And I am proud to be so. Our family is based on God! And we pray and attempt to lead our flock to God as well. God Bless!

Well said! Dennis is a wonderful man and an awesome pastor! He has been there for me in my times of need! When I call him he never hesitates to drop what he is doing and finds time to listen! I have had family members, who have called him late at night and he has come in to visit with them. I love this man like a brother! We are all saved by the Grace of God, but Dennis is the one who led me back to Christ and I will be forever grateful! I used to have a bad drinking problem and just not a real nice problem , but because he decided to start that church, I gave my life to Christ and through that I am now a far better father to my daughter and I have found the love of my life! I am so glad that God doesnt judge us the way we judge each other! The Bible says: He among you who has never sinned, you can cast the first stone! I have attended many churches over the years and I can finally say I have found a home! To the person who thinks he is just in it for the money and the show you are so sadly mistaken! For the past 3 1/2 years he has been our pastor free of charge!!! I love my church and my pastor, I would encourage anyone to visit! If you want to know his credentials then just ask, because this place is not the place to get accurate information! God Bless and I thank the Lord he didn't give up on me!!!

"He among you who has never sinned, you can cast the first stone!"

You said it Jeff! Anyone care to cast the first stone? We all (including me) have sinned and shamed our Father. It is only by His precious grace that we are saved and our sins FORGIVEN and forgotten.
Dennis is an amazing minister and has managed to reach people others have failed to appeal to. He is truly being used by God which is why he under fire right now. Satan hates to see his success. He is doing everything in his power to try to destroy what Dennis and Tina have done. I pray God's blessing and protection on them and their church. Thank you for standing strong with them. God bless you.

When a pastor accepts large "love offerings" nearly every month, but claims to be pastoring free of charge to avoid the taxes...THAT IS SIN!!! When I or another local pastor gets called to the hospitals to visit with Dennis's sheep because he doesn't seem to have the time to do it...THAT IS WRONG!!! When the pastor can't even pick up the phone to call a sick or discouraged church member...THAT IS WRONG!!! I'd say he hasn't been on a salary because he doesn't deserve it!! I attended there for quite some time, and seen him receive numerous LARGE checks, and not one time did "the church" get to vote on how much, or whether he deserved it. It appears the family is concerned for only themselves and everyone else is looked at as a number for offering purposes! What makes a lazy pastor feel he needs to be payed anyway? In most churches, and I'm sure this one is the same, alot of people in the church do more work, pray more, study more, and actually get off the couch and visit the needy! It's actually none of my concern, I'm doing my best to preach the word and see people saved, and I'm doing it on the same salary Jesus did it.....NONE!!!!

And once a gain a "man of God" who "preaches" trying to save people runs his mouth gossiping. Whether this is a true story or not, you need to start practicing what you preach. No legitimate preacher would get on a forum like Topix and talk about another person, especially another preacher.

WOW!!! I am a believer in the Lord and The Word, but I attend no church, and I'm afraid I wouldn't care to attend the ones that the claimed "Christians" that are posting on here attend. You are doing nothing but confirming the stereotypes that those who don't or seldom attend church have towards Christians, coming from a sinner (and not proud of it) you all should be ashamed of yourself. I know your all just people, and that we all fall short of the glory...but come on, how dare you acknowledge yourselves to be Children of God while in your posts you attack your own Brothers and Sisters in God on a site known for gossip and cruel scribblings, your posts would only seem to turn folk away from our local churches. Think people!

I love the messages given by Dennis.
I've not been in a couple months, and noones contacted me... But I've been very busy and am sure everyone else is as well!
I was without a car for over a month, but finally got a new one.

Would the ones from this church please do not post anything else. If Satan can angry you he has a certain amount of control over you. The ones that are attacking are hurting. God forgive us if any of Gods people have offended their brother or sister.

so you still back him after the affairs? why? and are you saying he's never accepted money from the church at all? thats a lie isnt it! id say youve been captured by the same beliefs that deceeved your husband! a true sheppard leaves the 99 to attend to the lost or suffering one. how many times has your husband gone out of his way, out of town, or early in the morning to do this? ive not heared of one time he visited a person in the hsoptial that wasnt immeadiate family or even at all, and that comes from a member of your family! ive known you tina since school, but id be finding out if i was a step mom or not if i was you. dont be deceeved.

I have went to this church as well..I do not go there or anyother church. That does not make me a sinner.I read my bible & pray all the time; You do not have to go to church to be a person of God!However...I felt uncomfortable in Crossway church due to the fact that the paster does not go see how people are when they are ill.does not even ask when he knows you have been ill.The church people there are stuck up & unfriendly.I treat others with respect & kindness.God Bless all!
Sorry

You are not treating people with respect and kindness if you talk about them behind their backs on Topix without even giving your name. At least that's what my Bible tells me.......... to love thy neighbor as thyself (Leviticus 19:18 and Mark 12:31).

Sorry, that was just one of many words that were misspelled. I don't think bear95 is concerned about looking like an uneducated bumpkin, he/she is just worrying about gossiping about someone. Obviously, he/she thinks Christians do that.
