You need some pork barrel spending otherwise very little locally would get done. The question is the degree and where the money goes. West Virginia is a classic example of money being wasted. Durbin appears honest and has integrity. Sauerberg will not win. We don't need another Fitzgerald in the Senate.

It's about time someone challenges Durbin. I'm so tired of that idiot constantly taking from the middle class people and throwing our hard earned money away. He's in touch with reality about as much as Georgie Boy Ryan is.

Boy are you wrong !!!!

Another Fitzgerals is EXCATLY what we need !!!!

Durbin IS a career politician and like a dirty diaper needs to be changed!!!

The problem with Durbin is that he's still in the Senate !!!!

I wish this guy well and plan on voting for him in the usual Illinois way....as many times as I possibly can!!

Finally someone running for the Senate that isn't Durbin or using us as a stepping stone to the White House (like Obama).

It would be great to have someone represent the people of Illinois in the US Senate.

Time for Durbin to retire his turbin! It is time for the doctor to realize his "dream" act. Maybe Durbin can go live with his people in Little Village or establish a bilingual college for the people he represented in the state. He certainly did not represent the American citizen.
