I noticed a bike cop on the side streets last night. I didn't even know we had them, it's good to see the new Chief implementing new programs. The cop came by and talked to me because I left my garage door opened. It's nice to see them out on the back streets. I think we need more cops on bikes, I didn't even see him until he walked up and talked to me. Good job Midlothian Police and to the new Chief.

Midlo has had cops on bikes for a couple of years - has nothing to do with the new mayor or chief. I agree that it is a good thing.

A couple of years ago I was at the ford dealer at 143rd and Cicero looking at vehicles on a Sunday when the annoying sales reps wouldn't be there.

When i arrived a midlo bike cop was there doing the same thing. Ok - they get a coffee break Too but, i spent a good hour there reading window stickers. I left and he was still there reading window stickers.

Midlo tax dollars hard at work !

Midlothian has had a bike patrol for over 10 years. They have been involved in ark district events, parades, community events as well as patrolling village streets.

If you would have asked him you would have been told that he was assigned to a detail at the dealership because of a crime problem they were having. It wasn't the tax dollars paying him but the dealership. Instead just throw anonymous jabs at the men trying to keep your dumb ass safe.

I really doubt they have a crime problem on Sunday afternoon. Why would they have a cop in his uniform shorts- on a bike??? Why not a squad parked out front- just like the banks do???

Ahh.... Because your just making crap up to seem like you are in the know

And maybe you explain your dumb ass why he has not been their the other 3 Sunday afternoons that I have visited?

is there only crime on certain Sundays??

And most importantly - I wouldn't trust a Midlo cop to keep me safe!! What a joke

Don't get me started with the Midlo Cop Profile- High School losers getting bullied, get even with the world mentality, and their Westwood College Degrees! I'm dead on!
which one?

I wouldn't suggest anyone question a midlothian cop about what he's doing. You'll get tasered.

Aren't you the smart one. Car dealers are victimized on Sundays because they are closed and everyone knows that. If you want to prevent the crime you park a car on the outside, if you want to catch the criminal you put a guy on the inside preferably not in a standard police uniform. They are not there every Sunday because the dealer ask for people when they think they need them. The fact that you wouldn't trust a Midlothian police officer tends to lend credence to the fact that you are a dumb ass. When one of our east side neighbors comes calling, you will be the first one to dial 911 and hope that the Midlothian police get there fast enough to save your fat ass. You sound like a police wanna be mall cop. I'm sorry that you could not pass the exam. I hear Chicago is taking applications starting this month. Good luck!!!
