Spark Energy, a retail electric provider and alternative to PECO, is offering gasoline for 10˘ a gallon to help customers save at the pump – just like it offers a 10 percent discount on PECO’s electricity rates at home. On Tuesday, March 29th, the first 100 customers at Heilman Sunoco Gas Station in Willow Grove, PA, with a coupon downloaded at www.Facebook.com/SparkEnergyPA
will be able to fill up their tanks for just 10˘ per gallon. The giveaway is aimed at raising awareness for electricity choice for PECO customers. Spark Energy’s low 8.93˘ per kilowatt hour rate is a 10 percent lower than PECO’s rate. PECO has announced a planned April 1st increase to 10.16˘ per kilowatt hour.
The fine print: Coupon good for one automobile tank fill-up from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on 3/29/11, only at Heilman Sunoco Gas Station located at 710 Easton Road in Willow Grove, PA. Customers may begin lining up for promotional gas giveaway no earlier than 9:50 am on 3/29/11 and must enter through the Ellis Road entrance.
