Thank GOD this place closed. I worked there for years as a registered nurse and saw years of medical malpractict neglect and poor poor nursing care. I reported it and lost my job. Thank our GOOD LORD this hell hole has closed its doors

I'll take your word for it and also thank God. I hope these desperately ill children have a chance at a better life. Let's all face it ... there but for the Grace of God go I.

Did either of you contact a lawyer for being fired? Did you contact the local police, news station, district atty? I just find it weird that you saw such abuse, and reported it. Then got fired and just let it go. I would think you would have pursued it so no other kids were abused.

My daughter also worked there for several years, before she worked at Skillman in NJ. There, after reporting abuse up the ladder she got shunned (not talked to for weeks) and it send HER over the line of mental illness eventually. The pressure applied to her to NOT keep reporting things higher and higher up was fierce, but she kept at it and eventually the place was closed. All the abusive workers (mostly women bussed up from Trenton)lost their jobs and the inmates were distributed elsewhere. I think the ways of the old days, where these children were not allowed to live for longer than a few hours or days was better. Not such a burden on society, not such abuse, not such a negative impact. I know my daughter, who is now a handicapped advocate in NJ, disagrees with me, but the old school certainly had advantages. Who knows why souls choose to be born in such defective bodies and minds . . .
