I can't get over it. it breaks my heart knowing that he won't be able to see his sisters, nieces, people he considered family, grow up and experience their lives. I know he would have loved it. I'm going to miss the late night talks, the advice he gave, but mostly the love he seemed to have for everyone. he truly did have one of the biggest hearts and he genuinely cared and loved everyone. Cody was by far, my favorite little hippie kid. and he was taken too soon.

to his family and friends, my deep, deep condolences and prayers. he will be loved and missed, always.
<3 you chody. stay happy up there :)

So sad to see a good kids life cut short.
We need to start teaching kids and adults that
speeding is fine on a professional race track. Never on a public street.

While I am sadden by the loss of what seems to have been a decent person. Why did EPD spend so much time and money on the scene. I am operating under the assumption that this was just a single car accident, no question of some second vehicle. This is not some kind of murder case, it's a fatal TC. Eureka like every other public entity is operating on a tight budget, why the CSI:Eureka program?

Youth and high speed driving on public streets can be a deadly combo.
Eureka is not alone in this scenario.

Get over it!!! Who cares about that now. You really need to figure out where it is appropriate to right this kind of thing. Thank you.

Perhaps there is more to the story than just high speed. There was a witness, there could have been other factors involved. My daughter worked with Cody in the CCC and had nothing but good things to say about him. The famiy deserves closure.

This kid, and your right he was a kid, was a good guy. He was a friend, and a brother, and a son. He was funny and smart. He had a great smile and laugh. I knew him and worked with him for about 10 months, and it was a pleasure to have known him. His life ended to soon, and its a tragedy. He will be missed by many. your comment was callous and insensitive.

I am at a loss to express how sad I am. Cody was a very sweet person and I can't imagine how much his family is grieving. My condolences to friends and family.
