What a loser...he couldn't even kill himself correctly. I am so sick of Bay Area and LA trash coming up here to rob growers. I would take em out if they tried to rob me.

Wow. Why delay the inevitable? You're goin' down for life, homey. Why not save us taxpayers and plead guilty? I guess that would require that you give a darn about something other than your own selfish stupidity. Should have stayed in Antioch.

It's so easy to falsely accuse innocent people in Humboldt County but when it comes to prosecuting actual criminals, they get the defense those falsely accused don't.

In a California murder case the average gap between arrest and trial is 20 months.Humboldt Co.'s average is better than that by several months.
The defendant is innocent until proven otherwise and fighting for his life.

"election"?
What are you SPINELESSLY inferring?

Just an opinion of course, but that might be the average but based on our population (small city in comparison to most places) it seems like we take forever getting the small (very small in comparison) number of murder suspects to trial. There were only 11 homicides in 2009 I believe, and that was all of Humboldt County! I will guess what anonymous was inferring to was....our counties DA sucks. We should be getting these trials over and done with and send these guys to prison already. Instead we let them sit in the jail for a couple years, screw up the trial, plea deal them out to vol manslaughter, give them four years or whatever tiny amount of time you come up with.....they have sat in jail for a couple years by then so by the time you give them four years in prison they are mostly done with their sentence. They end up back in Humboldt County in a year or so. Where is the justice? I am not naming any names or anything (kidding of course), but what happened to that old guy that shot his brother? I heard he's out? How did that happen? He didn't serve any prison time? Wasn't he found guilty?
