The jury did their job. Being someone close to the situation I was told after the fact that the jury did not want to convict him, but went over every senario and could only come up with one person who killed Gretchen, and that was Derek. The family found some justice, and yet he still has not been sentenced because of the games being played in court.It is absolutely ridiculous. No one can get any closure still.
