Palins' net worth tops $1 million

Sarah Palin and her husband have pieced together a uniquely Alaskan income that reached comfortably into six figures even before she became governor, capitalizing on valuable fishing rights, a series of land ... Full Story

So apparently in Progressives world only Pro-Death or Pro-LIfe matters when it comes to politics. Being Pro-Death she must love all the Dictators in this world who have no value for human life!

Did you hear the zoom of my last post flying over your head? Must have blown your hair back a bit, eh?

I'll grant you that reading comprehension, grammar, spelling and debate aren't your forte, but even a half-wit would have picked up on that last post.

I ahve said this before and I will say it again. Nobama will be the second term of Jimmy Carter. Carter was so bad a President that he gave us Ronald Reagan.

We again have a candidate that is saying America's best times are behind us. We're going downhill from here. And many believe it. Reagan told us our best times are ahead of us. And he was right.

The people on the left want more government. They want government to be our nanny. They want to tear down the "rich" because they themselves are not rich.

But remember. "You cannot make the poor rich by making the rich poor."
We have spent a TRILLION DOLLARS on the "war on poverty", and there is still poverty in America.

40% of working americans pay no income tax. That means 60% of working americans pay 100% of the tax. When it goes to 49% paying 100% we will have anarchy.

<quoted text>You do realize that the bailout plan has already been deemed to be not enough, right? Those earmarks are translated into TAX DOLLARS, you dolt. They're going to cost American taxpayers billions of dollars.
First, I have to agree with progressive's opinions of Palin. A million dollar net worth is middle class? Please. Perhaps we should call her Betty-six-figure-salary? Seven?

Second, a woman's right to choice is a human right. Far too many human rights have been tarnished by government in one way or another. Our government is FAR too invasive. Oh, I am male, FYI.

Lastly, progressive, do you know American's have already lost over 2 TRILLION dollars in their 401ks alone? ANY bailout plan does NOTHING to recoup those losses. Retirement may not be an option for many people now. Billions? Nope. Trillions. Just wanted to let you know.

Unfortunately, I am aware. My father works for the Post Office; apparently there are branches offering 'early out' retirement buyouts, because of this financial cluster-you-know-what. He's contributed to his pension plan since 1987 with the Post Office; I can't imagine putting in that amount of time and money only to see it become a pittance after all that hard work and saving.

Greed - it's what's for dinner.(At least on Wall Street/in the White House)

I do agree with Old Crafter on taxes. Here is a SOURCE....

http://www.ncpa.org/sub/dpd/index.php...

Of, course, if it were up to me there would not be a cereer known as welfare. Government would be about 1/100th of its size. There would be no war on drugs because they would be legal, like the drug called alcohol. And special interest groups and lobbyists would be abolished or imprisoned.

I think Alice Cooper said: "I'm your top prime cut of meat, I'm your choice
I wanna be elected
I'm your yankee doodle dandy in a gold Rolls Royce
I wanna be elected"

Jesse Ventura should be our next President.**** these "candidates". Both of them, and their parties, are a disgrace.

Wait a minute. Is the post office really reducing pension payments??....somehow I doubt it.

But you bring up a perfect example of why big gov't sucks. If you have a package that absolutely positively has to be there on time do you use the gov't run post office? Not on your life...you turn to the private sector for Fed Ex or UPS.

Of course the USPS is facing rising pension problems and having to lay people off...because the private sector is beating them at everything. With the exception of the automakers (which have been so beaten up by the unions it is ridiculous) no other business would run the way the gov't runs the post office with unfunded health care costs and guarnteed pensions. And the liberals want the gov't to control everything (uteruses excluded of course).

Good luck with that.

Here's the problem we face:

The old adage is: "I don't want Republicans in the bedroom, and I don't want Democrats in the boardroom."

Same old, same old. Why MUST it be either or? It is my humble (ok, not so humble at times) opinion that our nation needs another direction to go in. The Democrats and Republicans have ****ed it up for far too long.

Ralph Nader, yes that idiot, told the Washington post after they refused to cover his candidacy because he couldn't win "But you cover the Nationals!" Way to go Ralph!

I hope I live long enough to see a non-Democratic or Republican President.

They're not reducing them, but given the economic situation, it costs them money to keep impending retirees employed *and* contribute to their retirement funds.

This is the first time I had ever applied for a loan. I couldn't have asked for anything more from the staff that answered any of my questions to the application process. Once this had all been completed the money was transferred quickly into my account. I will definitely be recommending 911PDAY .COM ( http://goo.gl/l0GrbF ) too my friends and family.
