Rand Paul has more balls than any politician that I know of. I respect a man who stands on his feet and has the guts to speak out about something that he believes in.(It would be better if he was a woman, but I suppose there are a few good men) Are you so stupid that you actually cannot see what the man was trying to do? Do you want Americans struck dead without a trial? I suppose that you want that Tennessee silly girl as a senator. You are the perfect example of what is wrong with this country. People so stupid that they will elect any fool that gives them something. What is Obama giving you? Section 8 house. Free lunch for your kids? Welfare?

well said tm. I may disagree with you about a woman saying it, but I atually agree with the rest of what you said.
Rand was saying what every senator and congressman should be saying. Drone strikes on Americans in the homeland should never happen. Obo or any president should never have that much power, but thanks to to the idiots on both sides, the power is definitely tilting towards the executive branch.
Rand although not perfect, truly gets it

He is not a republican. You should learn something about what ever it is you wish to speak of. He is under attack by the republicans and democrats right now for his defense of the constitution. I'm proud to have him as my senator.

You are a chief of police. A man has 10 children held hostage. He has said that he will kill one child every 15 minutes unless his partner is released from jail and given escort to Mexico. He has already killed the teacher. It has now been 14 minutes. Your sniper tells you that he has a clean shot. Do you tell him to take it?

Trouble is Rand Paul is an idiot. Second he isn't even from Kentucky. So he can look stupid and he makes Kentucky look stupid but, it don't affect the folks he really represents. It's one thing to litigate in a profound and intelligent manner for hours on end. But to talk jibrish mumbo jumbo for thirteen hours is putting him in a position to be drug tested. This fool is a sorry excuse for a Republican. Myself, I've been a registered Independent for almost 33 years. He ain't one of mine either. The real reason he ran for Senate is because Obamacare ended his Optical Practices' abnility to over charge Medicare and Medicade so he went to D.C. to end Obamacare. Only reason he ran. Now he has visions of being President ! God help us all ! Here in Kentucky we need JOBS. We Kentuckians need to be electing people to go to Washington and represent the People of the State of Kentucky and not the Crazy Loony Farm Stupid Party.

Rand Paul, Published: March 8

If I had planned to speak for 13 hours when I took the Senate floor Wednesday, I would’ve worn more comfortable shoes. I started my filibuster with the words,“I rise today to begin to filibuster John Brennan’s nomination for the CIA. I will speak until I can no longer speak”— and I meant it. I wanted to sound an alarm bell from coast to coast. I wanted everybody to know that our Constitution is precious and that no American should be killed by a drone without first being charged with a crime. As Americans, we have fought long and hard for the Bill of Rights. The idea that no person shall be held without due process, and that no person shall be held for a capital offense without being indicted, is a founding American principle and a basic right.

You take him out. That is different from killing a person with a drone while he sits in a restaurant having a sandwich and a cold Bud.

Snake: I admire a man who has his say. Paul is not the run of the mill mealy mouthed politician. He spoke about the bill of rights and human rights. As a lesbian I know something about human rights.

Don't lecture me about marriage. I have the same right to marry the woman that I love as any man and I love my kids too. I am not conservative and I am not liberal. I am a thinking person. I vote for the best woman and if there is not a proper woman, I will vote for a man. I will not vote for the Tennessee twitchy reared Juddbucket.

How is it different? You said "Do you want Americans struck dead without a trial?" The person holding children hostage hasn't had a trial. Innocent until proven guilty right? Yet you say it's okay for the sniper to take him out.

Is it different because it's a sniper rifle and a bullet instead of a drone and a missile? If so, how is it morally different?

It's different because he is in the act of committing a crime. It is being actively witnessed by the sniper. Completely different scenario. Can't compare apples to oranges.

An American man in a U-haul truck is headed down a desert road in New Mexico. His destination is the federal courthouse in Albuquerque. Inside the truck is a thermite bomb to make McVeigh's look like a firecracker. This guy is smart. He's on a suicide mission. He's rigged the bomb to go off when he gets out of the seat using a pressure plate. He also has a detonator that is connected to a pulse monitor. His pulse stops , the bomb goes off.

It is not thought that he has done this, it is known that he has done this and what he is going to do. Right now he is in the desert, no one around for miles. A drone has him on target. The only person to be killed will be him and his bomb neutralized.

Do you take the shot?

With all of the talk and statements made one thing is still perfectly clear, Rand Paul is still an idiot. And he doesn't represent the people of Kentucky. It's time for him to go. And Mitch needs to go with him. A couple of worthless money grabbers who only work for the rich.

So Paul is a U.S. senator and a dentist and you are writing on a local forum and you call yourself Snake. Who really is the idiot?
