I so agree. These ladies complaining about being single mothers are the same ones who decide to spread their legs to a man who they know has no intentions of ever being a father and will not assume responsibility for anything, let alone a child. So whose fault is it, really? I agree a person needs to step up but if they are so immuture that he can't take care of themself then why would you spread your legs to them? Exactly who, 99% of these same woman are drawing everything under the sun from the government, it's sickening!

Procreation takes two people! If these guys, would use protection it wouldn't happen. Then after he gets her pregnant he's out.The female is the one left with a child to raise. By the way if the daddy stepped up and paid his baby's way the Mommas wouldn't even qualify for help.So you should think a little more about why you have the assumption that single parents get a free ride. Being a parent is not free or easy, unless you ditch your kid.

Why is it up to the dad...why cant moma get off her welfare sucking ass. She made a choice too. It's up to both not just the male. Why should the male pay when the woman isn't trying to work, only sitting home waiting on the mailman

Because a Dad is the parent, or should be,it isn't about money it is about love and guidance, and responsibility.A responsible person would do whatever it takes to care for their child even if it means getting public assistance.

ZERO.... plus I make damn sure that any female I choose is a responsible person or I keep my peter
in my pants. Cause accidents happen and if it's not a responsible female that can help our or handle her own, she gets none! That simple

It is the responsibility of BOTH parents to support their children. They both need to love and nurture their children.

I'm sick of all the deadbeat dads that I hear about. I am a single mother I work, get child support and get absolutely no assistance of anykind from the government. My friend however, Is a single mom of three children, ages 10,6 and 2. She was married for 12 years and her husband decided that he just didn't want to be a father or husband anymore. He left her with nothing and she doesn't even know where he is. She applied for child support, but they told her that they had to have an address on him before they could pursue anything. She is now recieving assistance for the first time in her life because she has no other choice. If she were to get a job, she would be spending her whole check on daycare because it is so expensive. So you see, not every single mother is just some woman who sleeps with anything and gets knocks up only to sit on her butt and get free money. It is NOT just the responsibility of the mother to provide for that child.I'm so sick of hearing men say that they didn't have the money to pay their child support. When you are a single mother you don't have the luxary of that pathetic excuse. The single mother has to provide for that child no matter what. Money or no money they still have to feed them, but the man can just say he didn't have the money and think that's ok.If more men were supporting thier children, there may not be so many single mothers on welfare!

Im tired of happily married couples who have no concept of what a single parent goes through. I work 50 hours a week, pay daycare up the ass, do every appt, playdates, sports, and then come home and clean and cook, laundry then of course try and spend quality time with my child. On top of all that im a student earning her masters degree so just shutup. It would be nice if all i had to do was worry about getting my hair and nails done while my child was in school and share my stressload with my husband everytime i had my period. It would be so wonderful to have more financial security of another persons income or even be able to just worry about what to wear for playdates at the park with starbucks. Cant fathom how easy that would be. So stop judging. Stop saying ur paying for my shit. U dont. And whats funny is i have less than u better off couples and u dont hear me bitchin about supporting other single parents. If anything i can relate to how hard it is to be both parents and supermom while trying not to crack because assholes like u cant stop judging.

And in case any of u jerks are wondering i dont receive any welfare assistance of any kind nor child support from my sons lame excuse for a human being. People change sometimes for the good and sometimes the other way around. In my case that was the situation. I love my child and myself too much too wait around for him to care nor will i subject myself to thinking because of his lack of coparenting means im entitled to any less than my son or i deserve. Just makes it that much harder on two people. My point is we cant always control everything and need to act a little more humanely to those who might need a leg up to get where they are trying to go. I don't choose to dash anyones potential because a hardship has set upon them for whatever reason. To do so would be like asking war veterans to get a grip about their tragedies because they knew they signed on the dotted line (opened their legs so to speak) and we should be so appalled of their ignorance as they collect a ton of disability assistance from our government that we as citizens pay for ...just sayin ...

Thanku that is exactly right. That was my situation and yes im sure there are people out there that do take advantage but to lump every single parent out there is ridiculous...thanks for understanding and your support.

Nicely said. To all u ignorant people if u make more than 399 dollars a month in oregon for one child u dont qualify for cash assistance which is the supposed subsitute for child support, if u make more than a 2000 a month gross u do not qualify for any help with daycare, or medical, or foodstamps. I make over that not by much though so u tell me how i make my car payment, rent, car insurance, buy food, childcare, medical insurance, utilities, phone, gas, sports, school clothes, birthday parties, toys, christmas on your dime??? And when my kid is sick or i finally get sick from exhaustion of having a sick child i didnt realize u paid for us????..shoot where can i send this bill out too???? ohh wait thats right all u dipshits are nowhere to be seen just like the absent parent....lol
