why is it that with just about every discussion someone starts on here there has to be someone to put in a rude remark? i dont think christmas should be a topic that someone should post a rude comment about.

I agree totally, Christmas is a very special time of the year. We all need to remember that Christ's birth is the reason we celebrate. We need to take time to thank God for his gift to all of us. Merry Christmas to all !!!

RULE #1
If someone or something means anything to you, don't bring it up on "Topix."

They are rude because they don't know how to live any other way. It's pretty sad, really.

My children receive three gifts just as Christ did. We also celebrate with a birthday cake for Jesus.

For my family we gather together on Christmas Eve and have a fun night of sandwiches, dessert, and companionship. Christmas Day we all gather for our traditional Christmas dinner. All our family is grown but we still enjoy getting together, but this year we have a special new addition. We have a beautiful little baby boy to join us. He is loved and a gift from God. Enjoy your family and each moment you have because we do not have the promise of tomorrow, each day is a gift from God.

thats sad isnt it? When it becomes all about money and getting in debt? Some christmas.s I dont buy any gifts. Just spend time with people I love and care about and share meals. If we want to buy gifts, its fine, if not, that is fine too. If I had childten, it would be a little diffsrent,i would want thsm to have gifts to open. But not get in debt over it. You could have it one yeat and agrde no gifts expected for adults! That may lighten your load.
