The repubs didnt have the votes to stop anything. I'm not sure why you believe otherwise.

As long as the president follows the laws and upholds the constitution, then I could care less how much money he had in a foreign bank. If you were honest with yourself, you'd believe that too. Sadly you're getting worked up over something that means nothing
to our lives. Its just a liberal talking point that
is used to lead people to be mad at mitt over something that is prolly in his best interest.
I bet if obama had money in the same bank, you'd say nothing bout it.

Reagan? Why do I need to explain anything to you about Reagan? We're discussing obama. It may be tough for you, but try to stay on topic.

Fox news sux, and so does msnbc and cnn.
I'm a patriot, so your stupid little labels do not apply to me.

President Barack Obama announced an agreement with congressional Republicans Monday night to extend the Bush-era tax cuts to all Americans for two years including wealthier families but he still faced serious opposition from many in the Democratic Party.

The deal also includes a payroll tax cut for workers in 2011 that would trim the Social Security tax rate by 2 percentage points and save $1,400 for a family earning $70,000. Under the agreement, Republicans would agree to renew jobless benefits for an additional 13 months without paying for them, which the GOP views as a significant concession.

Might help if you would quit drinking the Kool-Aid and read what you post.

"Under the agreement, Republicans would agree to renew jobless benefits for an additional 13 months without paying for them, which the GOP views as a significant concession."

The reason the Repubs were against them is because they weren't paid for. Adding more to an already unsustainable debt.

You could see more if you would remove your head from your backside!!

so I guess the repubs had alil more power than I remember.

I think you'll find this interesting though.

In remarks before signing the bill, Obama called it "a substantial victory for middle-class families across the country." He added: "They're the ones hardest hit by the recession we've endured. They're the ones who need relief right now."

Obama described the bill as "a package of tax relief that will protect the middle class, that will grow our economy and will create jobs for the American people."

lol that must get your panties in a wad

Gas prices seen headed lower at the pump

http://money.cnn.com/2012/04/26/markets/gas-p...

A surge in gasoline prices earlier this year sparked talk of $5 a gallon by this summer, but prices at the pump have been ticking lower in April, and it appears they'll continue falling as the driving season approaches.
This rosy scenario is prompted by the fact that the price for one of the most common types of gasoline futures traded in New York has dropped 30 cents, going from over $3.40 a gallon at the beginning of April to $3.10 a gallon Wednesday.

Perhaps you are unaware that gasoline is traded on te stock market? The $3.10 per gallon price is what it was going for Wednesday. It was $3.40 the 1st of April.

This is close to the wholesale price that gas stations pay. The price of gas in Harrodsburg is $3.69, down 20 cents from two weeks ago.

Perhaps if you would cease trying to be a smartass and read the article, you would already know that.

What is Obama doing to gas prices. When he went in office gas was under $2. This was in 2008. I heard he wanted gas $8. He wants clean energy. Ride a bicycle

Nothing. The President no more controls the price of gas than the controls what Kroger sells cauliflower for.

His policy has a lot to do with the prices. He doesn't like oil. All he thinks about is solar& wind.
