You seem to have a pretty good recollection of that night, even though you can't remember what you ordered. Just give it up. You've probably never even eaten there.
You're probably right about that since I'm pretty sure they dont take food stamps. What would you bet IF she went the server got a $3. tip & they walked out feeling fine about themselves?

Big Time . What type of person sits and argues with a lady that has family , takes them out to eat occasionally , and he has the gall to call her a " G*damn liar ?!" . He went way over . He knows so many restaurants . That explains his 3 chins I read someplace. He obviously has anger issues and does Not like for Anyone to say he is Wrong . reminds me of a 8 yr old I know.

I've eaten at Eddie's. It is expensive. And I don't mind that on occasion as it's nice to get out. And the decor and atmosphere is great. However, their service hasn't been too good on the three times I've been there. It's as if the staff really wishes you aren't there.

Whoever is saying it's not expensive is wrong.

I thought about taking a friend there to show her a fancy local place and just didn't want to spend $60 for lunch as opposed to $30 at O'Charleys.

And again, I don't mind paying money to have a good time. I'm just not sure I want to waste money.

This restaurant talk is not on topic. I began this thread about needing a change in our liquor laws. Our neighbor to the south went beyond our liquor law and now they can have package stores and real bars. They are making money and they have no more drunks than we have. Change will come to Harrodsburg. The local wall cannot hold back the sands of time forever. When the petition comes, sign it and help us move on.

I really have no right voicing my opinion on this, since I havnt lived in this town this long...But from what Im hearing it took years to bring liquor in resturants seating over 100 I think..So how long will it take for harrodsburg to start selling it in our local stores, and opening up bars..Just a though...Like I said I havnt lived here that long and already think this town need some entertainment and changes...

You do realize that you don't have to order the most expensive thing on the menu? I mean it's kind of lame going to any place, order the most expensive thing that they sell and complaining that it's more expensive than the place you penny-pinched at.

He ( Bartly / Digger ) is Seriously mentally ill . No joke . This is how your " Son of Sams , Zodiac killer " etc , were . I read a " comeback " he had for some poor soul just asking a question & he lit into that person soo bad.'. It was as if he was going to crawl through the machine to get them! If he has family , they need to be contacted ASAP ! I've not been here for many years but EVERYTIME someone tries discussing the problems of this town or just any topic , he turns it into a fight match which then about 30 ppl want to beat the heck out of him . Most people on here are descent ( except for a few ) but he is THE worst. I suspect he is an only . Child and has always had things his way . Who are his parents ? Someone said he lives off a inheritance. I don't care. and Kristy , I've felt so bad for this lady that I do not know but for him to say she was a " G#DAMN LIAR " was and is beyond bad . That hurt me ! How dare he ?! That guy has major problems . Maybe , he needs to talk to a minister. Couldn't hurt . Along with comp care. Geez. I would say he probaly has photos of hitler on his walls .

That's true, but they shouldn't order the most expensive thing on the menu and then bitch about how much it costs. She's the one who brought numbers into it and then ordered me to do the math. I suppose she was unaware that the menus are posted online and it's easy to see that she's lying. When her hand is called, she conveniently can't remember, although she had a quick answer before she realized she would be called.

I think that we can all mark this up to someone telling a big story and move on.

However, you'll notice that there still is no answer to the bottom line question: "Why don't you and your husband take out a loan and open your own place to eat?" Ultimately, that's what it all comes down to. People get on here and wax long about Harrodsburg not having a [insert name of favorite chain restaurant]. Yet it's always the responsibility of someone else to open one. Some even seem to feel that the city should open them.

It doesn't work that way.

Just like saying mean and evil things about me will make her tall-tale any more true.

Oh I suspect Harrodsburg will get the same things Danville has (package liquor/bars) when the greedy SOB's that have this town locked up, position themselves to be able to get all those liqour license lined up and locked in so they are the only ones who would be able to open those establishments. Wouldn't want any profitable business's to deprive them of taking money out of the pockets of THEIR people!!
