Mitchell James Byron (MJ to those who love him) deserves to have other things said about him other than his last act on earth. MJ had three strikes against him before he was born. MJ was a devoted relative to his family. He had the heart of an angel. He was introduced to very bad things by people who raised him. He was an adult and knew right from wrong, but he SUFFERED an illness which prevented him from acting on impulse. MJ had been in some trouble with Montgomery County before. Let me put this out there... If Montgomery County Jail is willing to advertise the number of times MJ had been in their custody, why are they not advertising that this was not his first attempt in their custody? Why are they not advertising that this was a successful attempt after SEVERAl in their custody? A quote in a local newspaper (the Courier) stated that if a person wants to kill themselves badly enough, they will find a way. The article also read that the only true way to prevent this from happening is to take everything from them, including their clothing. So why didn't they? If you give someone tools, will they not use them? If someone just two weeks before attempts suicide by cutting their wrists, do you only take away sharp objects? Did he not prove he was serious the first attempt? Did he not prove he was serious the first few attempts in their custody? I understand that the jail personnel cannot watch every inmate ALL THE TIME. But couldn't this have been prevented... I believe when it is a person's time, it is their time. But I also believe in prevention. Montgomery County failed in prevention. MJ, we love you and will miss you terribly. We are so glad you are no longer suffering. We hope you felt the love we have for you while you were on this earth. We hope you feel it now. Watch over us. We love you.
Thank You

You are obviously a heartless piece of wasted flesh. He was someones son , someones brother. God forbid something ever happens to one of your loved ones like that I would hate to think that you would have that inconsideration towards them.

To all that have something negative to say, fck off. My brother is a personality that is one in a million and you'd be BLESSED to even touch that with a ten foot pole. Yeah, he had some issues, but you don't know a damn thing about him. Grow up. Seriously.
