I am so upset and frustrated for you all...I live in Ontario , Canada but I have a step-niece and her family , which includes a tiny baby who live in Tolland...they have had to stay at a hotel quite a distance from their home because they NEED heat and electricty to properly care for their young children.

Haven't the power company asked for help from other power companies ?? In our lovely January, 1998 Ice storm, there were crews from all over here helping our local guys to restore power. There have been other massive blackouts in the US and other places where our Ontario Hydro workers have gone to assist.

We only lived though 4 days of it so I'm not sure how people in Tolland are coping...I lost it at 3 days and had a huge temper tantrum and crying fit (not that it helped but I felt slightly better..:))

I think I'd be sure as hell withholding pay for the power company for however many days they go without power..I realize that propblems happen trying to get the lines restored in a timely fashion but that's when you ask for HELP for God's sake!!
