Katelynn was my friend, and your a piece of shit if you think that sentence was harsh, they left her to die, moved her body and tried to cover up the scene so they wouldn't get in trouble... think about what your sayin or how you'd feel if it was you before you open your mouth

I had to read the article twice. Personally, I think the sentence was very harsh considering this is Connecticut. I'd say these two were simply victims of a judge with a hot hemorrhoid.
I wonder how these two idiots would have fared in Texas? One can only dream.

I think they should have gotten alot more jail time with Bubba and have to watch videos pics 24/7 while in jail of car crashes that resulted in someone dying. Hell...show they the autopsy photo of all victims from drunk drivers. Cruel and unusual punishment. YOU BET!!!

Drunks...I have ZERO tolerance!!!! Remember the 3 girls that were killed 30ish years ago in Stafford Springs. When they were walking home from Stafford Roller Rink?? They went to my school and were my friends!!! It was a hard lesson for me and others....we had never had a drink, we were so young.....I HAVE NEVER drank and drove ever in my life because of this. I am always the D&D driver. I should have been with them that night but Thank God....my mother had one of her funny feelings that I needed to stay home that night. That saved my life.

Yes, the State of CT is LAXED big time when it comes to drivers KILLING someone. Not something the State of CT should be proud of. It is SAD!!!

Wilfred Lebeau got away with the murder of Patrick Smith on December 5, 2007. He didn't even so much as get a ticket for killing Pat.

Impaired driving has to stop!!! That includes medical reasons THAT can be controled. If you are medically impaired in the State of CT, doesn't matter what your disease is....you can murder someone as long as you are driving in the State of CT.

they (police) are giving lesser sentences in ct now for some reason and i agree with you. a few weeks back there was party next door to my house. it was the womans 18 year old grandson and his friends that she allowed to have a party and giving them the alchol. no one at the party expcet for one was of age and we had to call the police because they being so loud and obnoxious and she let the party start at 1am because she knew the kids were all under age and figured it would be a good time to start it since they again were all under age. all they got were tickets because they were first time offenders and no arrest can be made on first time offenders at a party with drinking involved.....tell me do you think this makes any sense at all?? a stupid ticket!! and their grandmother is an er nurse that sees kids come in everyday for drinking and driving and still allowed her grandson to have a party including alchol and at 1am???? wft is the matter with people and why are laws getting worse but given lesser punishments????

some of you ppl obviously don't know these guys. i went to school with them for 15 yrs, they managed to befriend my brother so they could learn how to break into our house and did so lots of times. the cops even found some of our stuff at their house but because they were facing sentencing for other crimes dropped all charges, against my parents wishes. i don't understand how they can repeatedly keep getting away with their criminal activities.
if you ask me they should've been given a harsher sentence. they just left her, that is unforgivable

Gemini

You long to be surrounded by familiar faces and places today, so you'll really feel out of your depth if you're somewhere strange even if you'd usually revel in such a situation. Your idea of heaven right now is to be with family or dear friends, or with one special person, so you can relax and not have to worry about putting on a good show or being entertaining company.
