These children will hopefully find a home that is stable. This continuation of tragedy will continue otherwise. If he is their father, they will most likely never see him again. Hopefully she survives and can eventually care for them.

This couple had been fighting all day long. A neighbor called the police and they went there earlier in the day. Why wasn't something done then? The victim also went downstairs to the package store to get beer for him. She seemed in a hurry. She should have asked for someone to call for help. I think landlords should do background checks before renting apartments (and don't say that's a violation of right to privacy). I am sick to death of coddeling these people. I also don't want to hear "He made a mistake and deserves a second chance". Everything in life is a choice - either do the right thing or pay the consequences for choosing to do the wrong thing - and the consequences should not be so liberal.
