I have not had any experiences with the Connecticut State Police where they weren't being douchebags. They are often too lazy to answer calls, are rude, and they lie and commit perjury. If you want organized crime abuse call police. It is best not to need them and not to call them. Here's why:
I used to own property at the corner of Church St in Stafford Springs Connecticut. Police offered a crack cocaine addict dibs on my property and help getting a gun permit for helping harass me, terrorize and sexually harass my then 14 year old daughter. I had proposed Civilian Oversight of police to elected officials and got railroaded to prison and was kicke out of Connecticut upon my release. Ritt Goldstein also proposed Civilian Oversight of Police and then was so terrorized he fled to Sweden seeking political asylum.

If cops will allegedly promise a crack cocaine addict a gun permit and dibs on property for breaking laws, is dialing 911 or talking to police ever a good idea. This man sexually harassed my then 14 year old daughter and threatened her life:
He then became owner of my property and was allegedly got help getting a pistol permit although he drove drunk intentionally slamming into an African American woman yelling the "N" word. He is also known to be bi-polar and sleep with prostitutes. So he is a "preferred" citizen in Connecticut, not a small business owner or taxpaying parent.
