It's good that they are finally trying to clean up Willimantic the Herion capitol of the world. Hopefully they will actually reach someone and they will get help to clean up.

They should post pictures of these women to see if they are actually worth paying money to for sex.
My guess it they are not.
I hope they at least test these women for HIV. I know some states do, and consider it an additional crime if the person is +.
At least there efforts would help a little bit, rather than just dragging the women thru the system only to do the same thing again, while spreading illness.

Make Willimantic a prostitution-free zone, Ct.'s own Reno. One man's prostitute is another man's honey. If Marzo-Balduc is married, she's a prostitute too, whether she admits it or not. This is news?!? Being a police officer in Willy is a tough way to go. Not for me, no, no, no.

A wife who comes up positive for herpes - hardly call that a victimless crime

Maybe this was entrapment or a setup, the alleged charges being "manufactured." I wouldn't put it past them. As a male, they tried to entrap me in one of their periodic entrapment sweeps in New Haven. I didn't take the proposed bait (she was uggggllllly). The lady cop, who arrived shortly thereafter, gave me a hard time and wouldn't let me go. The way I got out of it was, I asked her to call her supervisor. He shows up and I complain to him that the lady cop is "harrassing" me. He saw the light of day and let me go. I got lucky that time. What's the lesson? Stay out of New Haven after dark, don't talk to anybody,... and Willimantic? God only knows!

most of u that put a comment dont know anything becuz u dont live there. take it from me a resident of willi, that the cops in willi r not doing anything about drugs. they sop people for stupid stuff ,like loud music, tinted windows, they mess with the young people alot for no reason at all.my friend got a $250 ticket because he threw a cigarrette on the sidewalk isnt that stupid.he should be cracking down on crime but no he saved the environment thank u for going green officer but around the block people r shooting up in front of kids.or officers flirting with girls talking to them for 30 minutes while people r selling drugs on other side of town.i even know a cops that beat up latin people 4 no reason not even the latin cops want to talk 2 us in spanish.what is going on in willimantic r corrupted cops that do drugs with same people that sells them and know r hanging in bars with the same people that sell drugs. this is the truth trust me a willirican resident 4 32 years.this includes the chief and so on.know u know and put this every where so people could know what is going on with willimantic its not the people ,cops gone wild .plz post this in the news everywhere cuz we in willi need help from these tyrants.
