Yes, yes, yes, most emphatically, YES!
End the prohibition altogether. It is a complete waste of time, effort, energy, and resources, on a "drug-War" that was LOST thirty-five years ago.

i would love to create tax dollars while helping those in pain, and reducing spending cost for "rehabilitaion" in jails. but it might make too much sense...

i support it fully..ever watch american gangster will denzel and russel crowe..crowe has a line in the movie that says the reason why drugs are illegal is because their is too many jobs involved with preventing and prosecuting people for drugs. good perspective. the entire DEA agency would be gone.

Absolutely. Any person in need of medication should not have to worry about arrest to obtain any pain reliever(s). I'll vote for it.

I am not sure, but think I agree with medical marijuana, but not for sale to EVERYone. I have seen the destructiveness still today of the weed. Short story. My stepdaughter's mother, still today uses.. she was smoking outside this girls wedding reception front doors. She had given up custody when the girl was 10 months old to her dad, my husband. I have raised her for 30 years.
YOu can say all you want that it is not a problem or that it is no more destructive than alcohol.. They can both be a problem. Personal experience with both and it is not just the actual buzz or binge that is the problem it is the whole mindset that goes with it. The whole social aspect of weed. Just like drinking too much, smoking too much can have the same lasting effects on the family. And it depends what it is laced with. Possibly if the medicinal form were regulated and sure it was pure and not laced, then a very cautious MAYBE... it could work. But emphatically NOT LEGALIZED!!!!

The DEAD could focus more on fighting cocaine and heroin problems, pot isnt really anything anymore...so many people use it, and not for pain either, and its less harmful then alcohol
I agree with you 100%. i dont use drugs except for beer and that d*mn prescription medication. I think that they should focus more on treatment and how to really educate the people on how drugs are bad. im sorry i graduated D.A.R.E it did not do anything for me except make me more curious.

Just my opinion though.

What a smokescreen. Be serious. I smoked pot for more than 25 years almost every day. Not once did I light up because I was sick.
Marijuana is NOT a medicine - and you all know it.
It's like saying beer is a medicine because if you drink enough it will help you sleep.
It is just a round-about way to legalize it.
Why don't you just admit it and quit these hide-the-pea games? Who are you trying to kid?
Michigan must have a very high cancer rate!

Marijuana grows NATURALLY on EVERY continent. No one has ever died from smoking or eating too much.
It DOES help relieve pain, more naturally than any RX drug, WITHOUT the CONSTIPATION!!! It helps increase appetites for the afflicted, and simply makes them feel better. TOO MANY non violent people are in jail for no reason because of the prohibition. Its TIME to end it now.

I think they should legalize marijuana all together. It would take the "thrill" away for alot of people who crave doing things that are risky. It could then be taxed to help raise money to bring down our deficit. It would eliminate alot of the crime that surrounds the imports and exports to marijuana. They could come up with better testing to determine how much you had in your system while driving to actually know whether you were really driving under the influence or had just smoked some in the past month. Medical testing would become more prevalent. They could put filters on the joints to screen out the bad toxins. They could sell it with different flavors or advertise certain foods to buy with it for greater enjoyment. These are just some of the reasons marijuana should be legal- some would say because it brings peace on earth-I am sure others can find just as many reasons for it not to be legal yet if we allow alcohol and cigarettes to be legal I personally don't see much of a difference-it's really just a bunch of leaves dried out and smoked- whats in alcohol?
