I have actually had to call the district manager on this man because my 3 year old wanted to pay for her stuff, and I'm trying to teach her that you can't just get what you want and walk out and about having enough money to pay for things. Well she was trying to get her money out of her lil pockets and he's huffin and puffin the entire time and she only got 2 things that costed $1 each and her total was $2.12...she handed him $3 and since he didn't have change he THREW the dollar back in my childs face, and rudely asked her if that was all she wanted. My child loved to go into that store because she got lil nick knack stuff that she paid for herself and it made her feel like she was an adult. As soon as we walked outta the store she turns to me and says "Mama I don't like that man...he hit me with my dollar in my face, and that's not nice." Had the store not been packed out that day, yeah with my temper I would have caused a scene because well that's just how I am especially when it comes to my child. I however figured that when a 3 year old tells people how mean and rude the man at the Dollat Store was to her was enough pleasure enough for me.
Not to mention I do not want him talking about other customer's sexual preferences in front of my 3 year old like he did days before the dollar incident. I've worked in retail and worked on a register myself and I know that it can be overwhelming, but to discuss something like that in front of a child and then treat them like that it's no wonder the world is going all to hell.

If he hit your child, even with a "Dollar Bill" it is still called "Assult"! Why didn't you call the police? IF, he did this on purpose. They have cameras on the registers.
If he did my child that way ... well, i won't say anything.
I think the law sent a guy wearing video, and voice recording due to complaints of him asking guys to do things.

Well...I didn't want to bring it to that level because there for the longest time my child was scared of cops due to me being pulled over by the wonderful KSP because he was flying and almost hit me and tried to blame it on me. It took my friend at the Delbarton Police like a few visits before she would even not freak out every time she saw one. And like I said I have a very horrible temper, and it was all I could do to restrain myself from going across the counter on this man, and plus I didn't want my child to see her mother act like an idiot just as the man who had just treated her that way. I just think it's horrible that I called and all I got offered was an appology to my child for it, and of course I told the district manager that was not enough for me...that when a 3 year old tells people about how she was treated there I'm sure it will do wonders for her store and to have a great day because I would make sure that my daughter told everyone she knew how she done him. Word of mouth is a lot more powerful than some people think.

I worked with Bryan for about 3 months at Family Dollar. At first he was nice, then things began to change. I started to dread going to work if I knew he was there. He had mood swings that were horriable. He also had a way a belittleing (dont know if thats spelled right or not) you. He talked about people constantly, and I had no doubt that he talked about me behind my back as well. He was MEAN to customers!! He had me follow people who were not white around the store even though they were doing nothing wrong. He was a smart *** all the time. For instance....I had my hair color changed and when I walked through the door for work he said "well that looks horriable, but I guess its a step up". Did it hurt my feelings? Maybe a little, but I needed the job, so I kept my mouth shut. The straw that broke the Camels back was what he said to my husband (he did'nt hit on him...lol). I had bought a home made rocking chair for my 1 year old daughter off a customer. I stored it in the office untill my hubby got off work and could come get it. When my husband got there he went in the back with Bryan. While he was back there Bryan made comments about his ex-wife. He (Bryan) said that he thought she was hot and very well put together (I personally dont think that he prefers women, but I could care less about that). Now I really dont care what his opinion of my hubbys ex is, but I didnt think he had any buisness discussing it with my husband. It infuriated me!!! The next morning I told the assistant manager what had happened and that I wanted the district managers number. I guess she told him because the next time I came in for work he took me in the office and told me that it wasnt working out. I left with class, and I have never been back to that store, nor has any of my family.

As for cameras on the register....when I worked there they were no cameras anywhere in the store. That doesnt mean they did'nt have them installed.
Something really needs to be done about him. Wether its boycotting the store or something else. After being let go I to called the district manager, but nothing was done.

To the lady whos child was treated badly....I sure do hate to hear that. I have seen him huff and puff at a lot of customers but people keep coming back, and I dont know why. Why wont they fire him?!? I am not the only employee that was treated this way!!! Its time we do something! It our (the customers) store, we pay the bills!!! Without us there would'nt be a Family Dollar!!

He is not sweet, nor is he nice!!!! I worked for him and you would be shocked to hear what he says after customers walk out the door. He treats people bad. I could care less what his sexual preference is. What I care about is how he treats his employees and customers!!! I worked with the nicest lady named Millie, and to her face he was sweet as sugar, but behind her back he said the most horriable things. As matter of fact he talked about everyone that was employed there at that time. The assistant manager Becky was Great, and again, to her face he was nice, but when she wasnt around he was always talking about her husband and family. He talked about things that wasnt any of his buisness. He thinks hes better than everyone from this area, just because hes from Pikeville doesnt make him better!

Every time I have been in there he has been nice until I went in there with my man and I had picked up a pink lighter & done the normal girl thing "oh it's so cute" and my man said "ur so gay" not meaning homo by it, well evadently Brian had heard it and got this attitude toward me and i've been a cashier and no matter how the customer is always say thank you, well Brian just handed me my change and money and curled his lip up at me. It's pathetic how people act like that.

To the woman with the 3year old, I would have stayed right there and made him call his manager & stayed until he/she got there and gave them my complaint and told them if he was not fired then the police would be involved. I mean c'mon being mean to adults is one thing..but kids..c'mon that is just not called for at all. Big props to you not flying off the handle with your daughter there!

OMG, I go in that store and I do believe he talks about EVERYONE he works with and EVERYONE who shops there. Yes, he is arrogant and kinda damn rude. I know Millie, he always smiles in her face. She still works for him. He gives my friends the creeps. And-he does think he is better than everybody in Williamson. We need to stop going in there. Maybe they will get a better and nicer Manager who is not so uppity, cause he is not cute to look at LMAO why he is laughin at us we need to laugh at him.
