I'd like to start a Topix Support Group. Anyone need professional help? I'm currently in therapy and can pass my doctors advice on to you.

Let us all give a big round of applause to the only poster on topsuxix with the balls to use his real identity when he posts. The rest of us are just posers.

Though you make some good points, your arguments are framed around the wrong theme. I don't agree with your theme.
Thank you for your feedback, but can you elaborate on your comment a little? What "theme" is it that you believe I'm using? Also, is the theme "wrong" simply because you disagree with it? You're more than welcome to voice your opinion, but I'd like a little more than someone telling me that my theme is wrong, lol.

I don't think it necessarily takes balls to use your own identity when you post and I often think about it; but I don't want to get unsolicited phone calls in the midle of the night or even change my telephone number or risk having my residence known to people I don't know. Some of these folks who post don't sound mentally stable and I'm unwilling to put myself and my family at their mercy.

I've mentioned this a dozen or so times on here, but the reality is that people get butthurt and they need a name to take out their frustrations on. Your typical redneck (no offense to anyone, I love rednecks) can became angry at anything to the point where all they want to do is fight. So it just makes them feel a bit helpless and picked on when they have no idea who's pissing them off. I mean seriously, I've seen a guy punch the screen out of his laptop over a situation like that. I found it amusing. Some of these same people would track you down and cause you and your family a world of grief if they knew how to get ahold of you, but more often than not..they wouldn't, they just want a name that they can cuss out or try to dig up dirt on. Heck, I get a kick out of people that want me to tell them things to their face. I mean really, I'm not gonna waste my gas just to give you my opinion. Get used to it. Stay safe, stay anonymous.

You got that right. When I'm off my meds theirs no telling what I'm capable of. Usually just want to inflict pain on anyone I feel has wronged me.Tried suicide once when I was on them.I probably need to talk to Rick about that support group.

My problem is that I'm "topix bipolar" I used to just straight talk but after as you say being "picked on" so many times for perfectly reasonable replies especially those who can't come up with anything better than trying to be your personal spell check I don't know who I want to be on topix anymore.I try to just not post but I'm addicted.

lol, whatever floats your goat. More power to ya, friend. Nothin' wrong with being yourself, I guess. Personally, I might have a touch of the topix bipolar disorder as well. Sure, I usually get on here and try to be mature and try to help people in any way if I can, but I'm not above trolling the heck out of anyone if the mood hits me.

So what that paragraph you just wrote was about how scared you are to use your real name on topix.

Yes, I'm fearful of how some unbalanced person might react especially towards someone who lives at home. Wouldn't you be?

I'm pretty unbalanced myself so I think If I meet another unbalanced person we'll probably just bump into each other and knock each other over. If your referring to unbalanced person as an intruder in my home. I'd just shoot them in the head, and cut their head off just to make sure their dead kinda like you do a snake. Carry their head out onto my front porch so when the police pull up I'll hold the head up and say guys the body this head was attached to came into my home and I had to solve the problem.

You may be right. They'll think twice about better enforcement when they start having to pay big settlements from lawsuits.

I agree with you on this one, nad drafter. I don't have much, but I do have a few guns and plenty of ammo. And they can pry them from my cold stiff curled hands. Probably will have to break my finger to get it off the trigger tho.
