Its a step forward. There should have never been a tax on food and somewhere along the line a group of idiotic lawmakers felt it was appropriate. Its surprising that West Virginians have allowed this to continue. Any legislator who supports a food tax should be removed from office as quickly as possible.

Lotta stores out on West Coast are starting to ship groceries to peoples homes. I know perishables wouldn't work, but canned goods and such, if a state with no food tax had a store that offered shipping, a person could get around it that way. It is stupid, and it's really plain evil to tax food. What states next to WV don't have food tax? I seriously don't know.
