Do you think hospital personnel have the right to refuse to get a flu shot as a job requirement? I think patient's rights trumps in these cases to be as free as possible from communicable diseases including the flu, something that could be devastating to people already sick.

No, they should not be forced to take the flu shot. Their body, their choice.

They won't take them because they know what Population Control is. They put shit in those syringes that cause your organs to become diseased. It's like asking if you want your value meal large sized. It's a part of up sale. More sick the more pills big pharma sells.

Unfortunately, it isn't that simple. The flu virus is airborne and if you have it you risk exposing people who are around you.

Sure it's that simple, if I don't want to take a flu shot that's my choice. Hospitals are not the only area that people are exposed. Should everyone that works with the public be required to take the shot.
I don't think so. That's just me, I'm not going to argue the point with you, that's just how I feel.

Of course you have a choice. I never said that you didn't. I'm talking about hospital personnel who provides health care on an intimate basis to people who are already sick. Most occupations requires a person to make some sort of personal sacrifice and for hospital personnel to be free of communicable diseases is a price they should have to pay for working in the health care field.

Why don't we just make it a law. Everyone in the US must receive the flu shot, or stay home.

That's probably what they will do. The Rothchilds are trying to cull the population back a bit. They call it trimming the fat.

That's a flippant response to a serious discussion and it sounds like you are unaware of the affect flu may have on sick people who's immune system may already be weak. Did you know the flu epidemic in 1918-1919 killed an estimated 21 1/2 million people worldwide including 675,000 Americans? It struck in the US in that two-year period in three waves and closed down many businesses and public places at the time.

So how do you justify exposing sick people to the flu? By the time you have symptoms and know you have the flu, its already too late to protect people around you.

You may be closer to the truth than a lot of us would like to believe. Many people believe there is a unknown virus or bacteria out there for which humans have no immunity that is waiting for the right time to strike.

The CDC reports 18 people have died of the flu during the current season. I wonder if those who are suffering from it wish they had taken the vaccine.

Did Camille Helsel get a flu shot before she kicked the bucket? I wonder if the vaccine had anything to do with her death? We all want to go to Heaven and walk on the streets of gold but 49 is awful young to be going to the Home in the Sky.

The CDC reports there have been over 20,000 cases of the flu through the end of 2012. Seniors are at high risk because the having the flu sometimes leads to pneumonia.
You can pass the flu along to others even if you don't have any symptoms.
Use common sense and protect yourself and those around you by getting the flu shot. It takes about two weeks for it to take effect, so you may b short on time this late in the season.
