I was told it was always a day late due to the fact that it was printed in Ohio.

I don't think it's printed in Ohio, but it has been downsized over the years in terms of reporting staff. Personally, I stopped taking it several years ago, when they mandated taking their Sunday paper, and of course jacked up the price in the process.

This newspaper has completely deteriorated over the last few years. I don't even buy it now. They should just shut it down and put it out of its misery.

Along time ago, the paper was ok. But now it is not worth the ink it takes to print it. I think the editor and staff are just lazy or dont care.

They should send reporters to the different county department meetings, and keep the residents informed. It would be great to have regular updates on courthouse records, police reports, school meetings, and even the red hat society, if we have one. There are stories worth printing if they would just get them.

With all the information available on the internet it should be loaded with information. If the paper was more interesting then, it would be worth buying.

I enjoy my Williamson Daily News. It isn't the biggest paper around, but for some reason I cannot stand to be without it. It needs improvement, especially with the proof reading, but maybe they are doing the best they can, I don't know. It could have a few more pages, and I think that when the Sunday edition was started that perhaps that was not necessary. However, if it went out of circulation I would miss it..

Is it true that Buck Harless is going to put out his own paper, and put the WDN out of buisness. "The Tug Valley Times"! I heard he was looking for reporters to be on the job, and was going to buy them police scanners for them to be ready for a story! Hope he does. The WDN is a piece of garbage. Only a few pages thick, and most of that is old KY. news.

The Sports Page is the best thing about the WDN. At least, the stories are readable and current, and now it's not all pictures.
