What does everyone think of Trinity Nursing Home?

i agree.jamie is good.but rita is also a good nurse as well.she works really hard.you can ask her to do anything and she would do it for you.the residents would come to her if they were sick.she would take care of it right away.rita and jamie are the 2 best nurses they have..

I guess I need to add my 2 cents worth too, I worked up there for awhile and I loved everyone of the residents, some were hard to deal with, but if you love your job then you figer out a way to make their lives a little bit more comfortable, everyone forgets that if it wasn't for the residents they wouldn't have a job. Jamie and Rita are awesome, there are a few CNA's that are great too, but for the most part the place isn't worth staying open. I have seen CNA leave a resident all night in the same dirty underclothes, because they were to busy running around doing nothing with the nursing staff, and around 5am they will finally do a quick change and slap some aftershave or anything with a good smell to it to make the smell of pee go away, but face it we all know that all that does is make it worse. I know that some of the supervisor staff had to be fired because that has no idea how to do their jobs, all they care about was being friends with a few and pissing on the others by giving the doubles, making them stay over because someone call in and they don't want to do their job and find someone else to work or do the job themselves. If they did a drug test of everyone in that place, they would loss more then half of the staff, ofcourse that is why they don't because the don't want thier dirty little secrets out. I love being in the nursing field, but as far as Trinity is concerned, I would not go back there if that was the only job in WV that was avaible. If want I have said has not told you how it is up there, I will leave you with one final thing that I witnessed myself, there was a resident that passed away, and since he was not a DNR the nursing staff in required to do CPR until paramedic arrive, there was at least 8 people in his room and the head nurse for that station knelt over him lying on the floor and told the CNA that was standing at the door, "just let me know when the paramedics get here and I will start CPR I am to tired to do this for 15 minutes until they get here" then all in the room were joking around and laughing until the paramedic arrived. Now if that is the kind of place you want to put your mother,father grandparent, sister, brother or you're own child in then you go right ahead, but remember you have been warned, if you still want to work there remember you have been warned. But also remember there is alway Trinity of Logan, althought they share the same name, that is a great place and I would gladly go there.

All the nurses work hard up there not just one or two so whoever is writing that one or two are doing all the work must of bumped their head. All our nurses are awesome.

I have to comment on all of the things that have been said about the nursing home. I know for a fact that there are random drug testings done, but the problem is that the doctors in Williamson give just about anyone a prescription for pills that are not needed. And the staff there works very hard taking care of the residents and if you really would take a look around you would see that. You must be a few former employees who didn't do their jobs and got caught. Interesting how you seem to know so much about what isn't being done, were you the ones not doing their jobs?
Please don't listen to alot of the gossip that you hear on this site.. the nursing home has came a long way from what it used to be and works very hard to take good care of the residents. Sure there are those bad apples in the workforce just like they are everywhere else, if you are out there looking for that perfect place I wish you luch on finding it, sometimes we need to take a close look at ourselves and see if maybe we are part of the problem or if we can be part of the solution. I think those of you who are critical of the nursing home are the problem and have been terminated or quit your job because you weren't doing it or because you were being made to do it and didn't like actually working for your money and would rathere get assistance from the government or should I say would rather that we pay your way, and provide you with income and insurance to buy your drugs.. have a good day.....

You are right I used to work there, I loved my job and most of my coworkers, but there is no way that the few that really do there jobs can make up for the many that don't, I have been called back to work there, but I have choosen to not return, not that I can't do the job, I just can't stand to watch the abuse, and no I am not saying that residents are being hit or anything, I am saying that when you leave a human being laying in their own urine all night,and not helping someone keep theirselves clean, that is abuse.

if YOU let this happen you are guilty too...it is everyone's responsibility to take care of these people just because "its not my section, not my resident" does that make you blameless...IF these things happened...guess what you are guilty too...according to all state regulations "Mandated Reporter" Once we become part of the health profession we are obligated under law to advocate for the patient, resident, client, whatever you might label it, so you think about that

To just me... I am not sure of who you are but if you worked there before I am sure that you were not called back.. maybe you called back to see if they would hire you back and were turned down.. probably closer to the truth than anything else you have said.. it is a shame what past employees will do and say because they were not doing their jobs........
