hopefully a church does not get involved. the last thing homeless people need is someone preaching to them before a meal.
and make it unisex. because the only shelter nearby for anyone is strictly for women. and it is small.
they could set up a food bank in it, GED classes, etc..

How about a place for our youth to hang out! A place with plenty of activities or perhaps a big brother big sister program because too many of the kids and teenagers are slipping through the cracks and by there not being much around here for them to do they are finding trouble or trouble finds them!

Any of you idiots actually think Detch cares about that place? He only cares about himself and how he can make money. He is arrogent, self-centered, and basically an ass, so what ever he does with the place that was given to him, rest assured, there will be something in it for him. PERIOD!

i think a shelter is a great idea, but not very commercial. i agree that he most likely wants to make money off the place, not spend more. not sure what buisness would thrive in that location, possibly a bed and breakfast right off the interstate. there arent any hotels in the immediate, visable area.(with the option of purchasing company for the evening?) to each his own.
