The man charged in a fatal October 2011 crash in Audrain County reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

Prosecuting attorney Jacob Shellabarger confirmed with ABC 17 News that James Rippee and his attorney negotiated a plea agreement. Rippee pleaded guilty to all of the charges against him while in court Monday. Those charges included first-degree involuntary manslaughter, six counts of second-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and careless driving.

Rippee received a 14-year suspended sentence and will be placed on probation. The court also ordered him to spend 120 days in the county jail.

Under his probation, Rippee will not be able to drive, drunk or take drugs. He also must submit to searches of his property when asked by law enforcement.

Rippee remains in custody at the Audrain County Jail.
