Whitley Co. needs a court watch because all aren't treated equally. Those with money and/or connections are treated different than those doing the same thing, but nobodies and no connections. Don't ever be fooled and think justice for all really means that....it's still who you know in WC that matters.

Judges, cops, etc. have discretion afforded to them. See Google for the definition.

ya know if some one can bring attention to corruptions and help the area, I am all for it, seems that when the drug dealers/users are caught some can bail out with just a signature and others who maybe with lesser charge has to come up with a high bail or property bond, that don't seem right to me. And another thing that really gets me is when the lawyers and court system makes the children (who have been abused by the druggie parent) of drug addicts, go for visitation with them, you can see the fear in the child's face, it just messes with the child and causes everything that it has went thru to come back to their little heads to where they start having the nightmares all over again, the child thinks it has to interact with the parent to please them, so they don't get wacked in the head with something, I just wish the lawyer, judge or who ever else in the court system had to be in that childs place for awhile.

Most children want visitation with their parents no matter what they done. a lot of children go back to their parents when they turn 18. I think you need to educate yourself on the subject further before making yourself look foolish.

Everyone is a Monday night quarter back. It's easy to be a critic until being chosen to join the game. Adam is just young trying to gain fame but i think he means well. He will eventually gain wisdom if he learns from his mistakes.

REPLY: In my opinion, it depends on the age of the child...and yes most go back when they turn 18 because they have no where else to go.

foolish? I do not think so, I guess you have never experienced seeing a child that has been abused having visitation with the one who abused it, when the child first goes into the room and sees the abuser you can see a change in its face, it goes from happy to a frighten sad look. as a child grows older and can defend its self maybe it will go back to the person but I doubt it stays there long, if the abuser hasn't changed. you need to educate you're self

you talk like you may know a lot about child abuse, makes me start wonder why you know so much, hmmmm,
why don't you educate us all since you know so much, tell us how that child feels when it looks at the person who abused it, tell us how it shouldn't be afraid or have nightmares,

You are the only one that appears in need of education. I don't know who the "us" is you are referring to unless you have someone spell checking over your shoulder. Could it be I work in the field??? I cannot tell you how exactly the child feels but I can make a generalization as to it based on my work experience. That was exactly my point in the first post. You continue to claim to have some type of exact knowledge of how a child feels.

I am very knowledgable on maltreatment. That part you are correct about. Visitation is the heart of reunification.

you know you can say that I need education all you want, I know the reaction I saw on a child's face, it doesn't matter to me how much knowledge you think you have (by the way you need spell check, KNOWLEDGEABLE) in my opinion, if someone molest or abuses a child they do not deserve visitations,or reunification (as you call it), period!!
the use of "us" was referring to all who is reading this post
what university did you get you're degree ???

so you think, because you have been educated you can speak for every child? I think you need go back to school. You can not know how each child responds to abuse.

lol the poster (what) said, "Could it be I work in the field???"
whoever it is did not really say they had an education, so they just might be the janitor, receptionist or some kind of aide. so really they could be a little doltish
for example, that would be like someone working, lets say at a lawyers office, as a janitor, they could say they knew something about the laws because they work at a law firm
