I was contacted about a job with Serco / KCC. I have a steady job, min. wage none the less, but it is a secure steady job. Does KCC hire temps. and then get rid of them within a few months constantly like other companies around here? Or if you go in and do your work is it a good chance of being a permanent employer? I can't risk quitting my current job if KCC will only work me for a few months.. Can someone please help and no rude comments please.

Employees at KCC are kept in fear of losing their jobs and encouraged to constantly report each other. The ONLY way to be successful at KCC is to ditch your pride and self-esteem, tattle on your fellow employees (for complaining, not wearing the right clothes, or being in a bad mood) and finally kiss as much back-side as possible!

If an American citizen were to go to say, Mexico and apply for a job do you think the American would be hired or a Mexican citizen? Of course the job would go to the Mexican because he is a citizen of that country. Well, the same should apply here, especially in a job working for the federal government of the USA.I think it should be that way.Our jobs should go to our citizens first. And, I think you need to brush up on your language/speaking skills.Maybem that was part of the reason you haven't found work.

It is unprofessional and they lay off smart people all the time just because they won't convert to kissing butt and if you stand up for yourself you may as well pack your bags. Also as far as work goes they are constantly changing the ways they want things done and you have one person telling you this and then another one telling you something different.Very unprofessional! I noticed recently a woman got let go and they acted like she wasn't doing things properly, which they really are terrible at explaining things and don't really help anyone, but they never told her until the day before they let her go! Then the next day she was doing it correctly and they let her go anyway. I think she just didn't kiss our supervisors butt and the supervisor just for some reason didn't like her, she made uncalled for comments regarding personal matters. Awful enviroment. I have worked here for 8 yrs now. I kiss ass cause of my kids.

----------depends on the contract they hire you for, i actually work there, and the contract i work is a permanent position, the only way to lose it, is if i quit or get fired.

Is this place still as difficult to work for as previously stated? If it has changed for the better, can you tell where you go to put in an application? Or if it is online, at what site? Thanks.

You have some very WRONG information (Prob. by some temp. agency employee). You should try to contact Serco directly.
I am a permanent resident - I work for general Dynamics. As I know , Serco is contracted by GD in London, Ky. Or Heck - come work at General Dynamics! They are hiring.......and it is a MUCH better job anyways.
No one can refuse a JOB to a PERMANENT resident!
