Its the state that will bust your ars. Most people ride responsibly. The ones that don't, have no one to blame but themselves when they or a loved one get killed. I ride a 4 wheeler, but I know they are illegal on any public road. It would be bad to see a loved one killed and then get sued on top of it. Take Care.

The reason these laws are not enforced is because the cops have more to worry about than people ridding ATV'S. Get real, if thats the worst thing people are doing we're in good shape.

The law will not do anything about them riding them on the road because they are the ones doing it while they are drinking

Is horse & buggies safe NO NO NO ? I had rather meet a 4-wheeler than a horse. At least the 4-wheelers will share the road the horse riders act like the WHOLE ROAD BELONGS TO THEM. Look at me now i am rding a horse.

Where did i say horses donn't have a right. I said the riders act like they on the whole road. A car travels on one side of the road but horse RIDERS spread all the way across the road.I'll get over when i get ready.Look at me now i am on a big horse u can wait.

Well, let me say......I ride both ATV's and Horses. And To me A horse is more dangerous on a public rode than an ATV because if they get spooked they could end up on the hood of your car or truck. An ATV it is all on you to break or to not. Just use your head and wear your helmet and get alone with everyone the best you can. No one is perfect God made us all different for a reason. Enjoy life to its fullest and stop talking trash about others because what goes round does come round.

You all sound like you work for the government or something. Who is anybody to tell anyone what to do. Let ppl do what they want and take responsibility for themselves and their actions and worry about your own backyard.

If you think you'll ever make it down this way come ride with some of us. It doesn't matter what city you stay in, you can find someone to ride with and it's some of the best riding in the world.

Maybe you need to get a freaking life. I have these idiots running down MY road, in front of MY house all hours of the night. They are doing donuts and tearing up the road and the grass in front of MY house. Laws were put in effect for a reason.

hey guys i just read through all of everyones posts and i would like to say as a 19 year old who cant afford a car i love my four wheeler it gets me agound where i need to get for work and anywhere else i dont fool around on the road and yes there are laws but sometimes they are to protect certin groups of people. i understand why they dont enforce many of these laws because yes some police do break them themselfs but also because they are that seriouse if every police officer arrested every man woman or child for breaking these simple laws outlr jails would be packed better than a sardine can when you buy a four wheeler and pay for that ORV sticker for riding your off road vehical you assume resposibility for anythig you do on that vehical. now do i think little children should be on these machines.... no but we live far from a perfect world and things do happen and unfortunally turn out horribly because of those things im just asking for you guys to understand yes they are dangerous machines but they are quite usefull and safe when operated correctly.
